In telling stories like this I usually want to be sexually intriguing, but also have a genuinely interesting story to tell. This is one of the most surreal hookups I’ve ever had.
So I have an odd series of friend groups. My high school friends are mostly composed of video game kids and genuine geniuses, but they’re all super fun people. In terms of video games, I am mostly interested in causal games and rpgs, though I do enjoy Hitman a whole lot. One of my friends is much more into fighting games, and he invited me randomly to join him in going to a Super Smash Brothers Melee event.
The drive down wasn’t too bad, and we got there the night before. We shared a hotel room, and then went to the actual tournament location the next day.
My friend happens to know a pretty chill player, and so we did end up getting a pretty VIP experience in terms of where we could access. I was surprised that the venue was as big as it was, but apparently it was some regional final or something. I won’t name the city or tournament, since i want to keep some later details of this story obscured.
