Dash Meteor, Chapter I: Crash Landing on an Unknown Planet [M/F]

He wakes up. The air is thick in his lungs. He attempts to slow his breathing to resist the foggy green foreign air. He looks around the small cockpit he is currently sprawled out on the floor off and sees he has crash landed into what appears to be a farm growing some sort of alien crop. He attempts to move and quickly grabs his left arm after a strong jolt of pain rang from his elbow. He slowly tries to stretch his legs and finds he is able to. He looks around, and after a few stressful moments, finds his gun resting in front of the chair, under the control panel. He grabs it with his good arm and becomes very still. He listens intently for a moment, but only hears a small flame. His ship is on fire. He looks to the upper left side of his control panel and slams the light blue button. A panel of the windowing pops open slightly but fails to rise entirely. He waits a beat as the sound of the fire grows, then puts the gun in his left hand and slams the fire escape with his right forearm and waist. The door budges open a bit more. Smoke is beginning to billow into the ship while the green fog swirls loosely around him. He jumps up and hits it again. It pushes a bit further. He grabs the gun with his right hand and climbs through the narrow opening. He sees the entire back half of his ship is in flames. He continues crawling until his feet are free and they begin to drag in the soft soil of this newfound planet. He scrambles onto his legs and runs as fast as he can.
