I decided to buy a new headphone. This time, maybe not so much bluetooth, but a nice headphone I can use with my desktop computer, to watch a movie and listen to music/audiobook. This time, I know that the most interesting thing for me to try is to get one with as wide a soundstage as possible. So, I decided, instead of the usual moving coil driver, I would like to try a planar magnetic headphone. I did my research, and every single one looks quite expensive. So, I decided that instead of the usual “let’s just order them on Amazon” approach, I would try the different pair of cans on the audio shop where I bought my last nice pair of headphones.
I am by nature a pretty laissez-faire sort of person. So, seeing that it is Saturday morning, I decided to just leave the house and go to the audio shop in the pajama bottom and the oversized shirt I slept in. I was going to go to the store to buy headphones, right? Not to participate in some sort of fashion show. Right. So, who cares what I am wearing, as long as my credit is good, right?
