To give sort of a backstory: my wife and I have been together for about 7 years, and we’ve experienced a number of firsts together. In the last couple of years, I finally came to terms with my sexuality and came out as bisexual, which my wife fully embraced. After much discussion, we decided that while introducing another person to things wasn’t our cup of tea, we would explore things in and around that realm. One of the things was sharing photos, but since my wife wasn’t comfortable with that, our compromise was stories – and thus here we are.
A couple days ago when I was looking for a pair of socks, I had pulled out a pair of her knee socks and put them on by mistake (some of our socks look pretty similar, but once they went past my ankle, I realized the error of my ways). Weirdly enough, I decided to try the other one on, and some sort of light bulb went off in my head. I felt conflicted, but the kind of conflicted which sends the heart into a frenzy, and blood rushing down the river (so to speak).
