The buzzing sound was filling the room, accompanied with a soft whimper that came from the young man’s lips every so often. The buzzing was making his whole body shake practically, but he was settled by the woman next to him.
“Hurts…” He said for the twentieth time.
“I know darling, it’ll be over soon.” The woman said, gently stroking his hair to try and calm him.
Luckily the tears were gone by then, but the evidence of stains was on the arm of her shirt. He had a sheen of cold sweat evident on his forehead, biting his lip as he cuddled into her side on the couch. Once again, he tried to look over at his right shoulder, but she took his chin with her nimble fingers to make him look back at her,
“Again Jude, keep your eyes here, it’s just like a needle, it’ll hurt that much worse if you’re watching it.” She said and he nodded, letting him lay his head against her shoulder.
