I’m trying to start writing stories. Instead of starting from the beginning, I decided to jump right into the middle. There is no setup but I think this can stand by itself. Let me know what you think. My first time so please be gentle but comments welcome.

Writing and Posting Question
New to this forum. I am writing a story but looking for advice, reviews, etc. Is this the correct place for it? I am not a great writer and have never done this before. I figured I would take some of my fantasies and write them down. My first story is so far very detailed (which is kind of what I want), but was hoping for some advice. Any suggestions? Not looking for a bunch of trolls telling me how much I suck. I guess more like a mentor or something. Thanks
