It was a hot summer night. The digital clock on the table was burning the digits into the hot dry air of the room. Five minutes past 1 o’clock in the morning. Even though it was getting late, she wasn’t that tired. The hot weather, which was continuously getting warmer and warmer for past three weeks of summer, made her a bit weary, but she felt there’s still some energy in her left. She gently turned a page in an opened book right in front of her with her fingertips. The page gently descended onto the the stack of already read pages, pieces of the story she already experienced. As she was reading the shine blue book, she liked to imagine herself in the role of the author’s heroine. The Lioness, as her creator named her. Her life was full of grand adventures, excitement and action. She was a strong warrior in a fantasy land far far away, who always got what she wanted, yet was adored by many. Her character made her famous in her realm, exalted heroine of the kingdom. During the story spanning hundreds of pages, The Lioness had a decent amount of romantic adventures as well, because the life of a local hero wasn’t just slaying monsters and going on quests.
