I don’t really know how to start something like this off but I guess I’ll just give a little background? This was earlier this year and I was visiting some friends and also checking out grad schools in a new city I hadn’t really spent time in. I’m not applying yet but I figured it doesn’t hurt to get a head start on stuff.
For my dating background, I usually don’t struggle with apps or meeting people in person but I guess I had taken a little sabbatical from hookups over the past few months. It had been especially frustrating since I live with two other girls and they absolutely have not been taking time off. Normally, I wouldn’t mind, but I guess I’d been feeling some type of way.
Anyway, like any good young person does in a new city, I fired up Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge, and started swiping. I had some matches, but nothing that was really going to peel me away from hanging out with friends. But then I matched with a guy on Tinder, about my age, whose profile got my attention.
