So this happened a few years ago. My ex (who I am still incredibly attracted to) and I had been divorced for a few years at this point and had a fairly good relationship, all things considered. I had our kids for that weekend and it was Halloween. She had “forgotten” to pack their costumes so I had to go over to her place to grab them and since she lugged right around the corner, I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal.
I left the kids with my roommate and sent her a text letting her know that I was on my way and would be there in a few minutes. It was still fairly early in the day so she was still in bed. She replied that she was in bed and didn’t really feel like getting out some she was very comfortable and relaxing. I told her just just set their condones on the dining room table and that I would just walk in and grab them, no problem….
