“Wake up baby,” Lydia whispered in her raspy morning voice. “You’ll be late for your flight.”
She was lying in bed, cuddling Dave, under a soft white comforter. They were completely naked under the sheet. Her head rested on his right pec while her right leg clinched around his waist.
“What fight,” Dave mumbled in his sleep.
“Oh baby, flight, not fight, you have to travel for your conference today, remember.”
“Huh?” Dave muttered again, scratching his cheek, his eyes still closed. “Conference, yes.”
Lydia sighed tucking a lock of her shoulder-length hair behind her ear. “Babe?” She said, staring at his square face as he exhaled a loud snore. “Wake up,” she hissed sharply.
“W-What happened.” Dave woke up startled, looking left and right in panic.
“Finally, you’re up.” Lydia wrapped her arms around his neck. “You’ll be late for your flight.”
“Oh fuck,” Dave hastily reached for his phone which was charging on his side table. He picked it up and saw the time. “Babe, my flight is still four hours away. You got me scared.” He fell back on the bed, yawned while stretching his arms. He placed his hand around Lydia’s shoulder after completing his stretch. He ran his fingers in her silky red hairs.
