Obligatory disclaimer: longtime lurker and a first time poster!
I’m a US English major facing a unique opportunity in that I just received approval to submit erotic literature for actual grade. This is a ‘never before’ moment as far as my class, professor, or (conservative) school is concerned. It took some very creative and persistent pitching haha.
The main stipulation? Core premise, characters, and varied events need to be generally crowdsourced from an audience of at least 10 potential readers. Oh yes, I can and will be explicit with this ?
After asking some peers and eliciting nothing but awkward moments void of any real honesty, I figured I’d turn to this community for their anonymous ideas & inputs? I’ve always observed nothing but positive support and kind words going around so here’s me asking for some of that in exchange for my best entertainment efforts.
I plan to spend the next 4 weeks all in on this project, as the final result must be 20,000 words minimum, and that’s a lot of room to roam! There will be one lead female and one primary male character, among others. No taboo/incest/rape (ugh) stuff, and no teacher + student dynamics, but otherwise it’s a blank slate my friends. I would love to incorporate various international geographic settings (I moonlight as a travel blogger ?) and it will be present tense, the year 2020.
