Jamie has always hated going to conventions. It was nice to be away from work for a few days and be paid, but very seldom was it worth the trip. This year the annual convention was in Seattle, a city that she had loved. She would enjoy blowing off hours of lectures to enjoy some good seafood while day drinking.
She stayed at the Westin. She was impressed at the fact that her company had actually paid for a hotel that was not flea ridden, where you felt you had to sleep on the bed with clothes on because the idea of jumping in the bed was less than appetizing. After putting her bags down from her 6 hour flight, she went to the window to get her view. Unfortunately, she did not have a view of the city but of her fellow guests. The hotel was U-shaped and she was in the U. Sighing, Jamie turns the shower on to rid herself of the stale cabin air and put on a pair of jeans and a blouse so she can explore the city. Her yoga pants and oversized sweatshirt were dismissed to the floor.
