Our high school valedictorian was an 18-year-old girl named Maya. She was your typical top of the line student. She was wicked smart. Plus, she was super kind and talked to everybody, not like one of those hermit smart people. She was an Indian girl that was tall and lean. She had a very pretty smile and was always giving people funny looks. She usually wore baggy sweatshirts and t-shirts that hid her medium sized boobs from display. To contrast her conservative top half, she would wear those very short athletic shorts which showed off her strong legs. She never acted perfect at school. It was very clear that she was just as human as all of us. She was always very friendly with everybody, but never too friendly. As far as I knew, she had never had a boyfriend, and I had suspected that her status made her seem unapproachable to most guys. In our summer before college, I got to know her a little better though.

I joined the mile high club on my way back from college… [M/F]
Tonight I’m flying from New York City to Dallas, Texas on the red eye. My flight leaves at 1 am and won’t arrive until 5 am… yay. I’m flying home for the break to meet my family. When I enrolled in college they told me that they would pay for all of my flights to come home and visit them. Though, they had conveniently left out the fact that all of my flights would take place while the sun wasn’t out. However, this time I’m glad they decided to be cheap…
I’m planning to sleep on this flight, just like I do on most others. At the moment, I’m sitting in the terminal, waiting for the flight to begin boarding, and people watching as I often do. I sit straight up in one of the seats with my earbuds in and just stare out into the crowds.
I see plenty of different people walking by, some old, some young, some tall, some short, some ugly, some pretty. A family walks by with their two young sons. The dad drags one along in each hand. The mom has an oversized purse, and I swear she’s carrying a live chihuahua in there. I wonder how she snuck it past security…
