It’s another average day here in my office. I’m on the phone with a peer helping them work through the new system that was installed last week, it’s been a pain. My eyes drift to my outlook calendar, two weeks I tell myself. Two weeks until you and I get to have our day together. I’ve already put in my paid time off request and you have the day planned. I love it when you plan our dates, it makes me feel so special knowing that you just want to take care of me. My eye lids lower with lust and my bottom lip slides under my teeth slightly as I think about what we might do together.
I’m brought back to reality as I hear a knock on my door. It’s a weird sound because as a type B manager my door is always open and my team knows that they are welcome to drop in any time. I’m still on the phone listening to my peer trying to explain why his book of business is plagued with errors. I look at my open door and who do I see? You. You and that sexy smirk of yours. I wasn’t expecting you. But I know what it means when you show up unannounced like this.
