After almost two years of no traveling, I finally got the call to travel and visit a few of my clients in Singapore as the Vaccinated Travel Lanes meant that I could travel out of Australia (where I’m based) to Singapore without quarantine. A two-week stay it would be. Double yay for the double jab.
I had to quarantine up until my on-arrival PCR test was out, and thankfully I had a nice hotel room to wait in. The perks of travelling on company dime – oh, how I’ve missed thou! Results came out fairly quickly (7 hours), and I was free to roam the streets of Singapore once again. The familiar sights of Singapore and her warm and humid weather welcomed me, yet like many cities around the world – it was eerily rather empty, with much less hustle and bustle. Never had I experienced this at 9pm in Singapore on a Saturday night.
