Serial cheater here. This is a story from about 10 years ago (only recently discovered this subreddit) so I was about 28 at the time and he was 19-20.
So, one morning, my husband was at work and my son was at school and we needed some electrical work done at our house. There was a young electrician who we knew of that worked around the neighbourhood (friend of a friend sort of thing) so I called him and invited him over to sort out this wiring we needed done outside in our al fresco area. He had some time that morning due to a cancelled appointment, so he said he would drop by within the hour.
He arrives at our house not long after and introduces himself. Unsurprisingly, he is friendly and professional. I had seen him around the neighbourhood from afar and knew he was somewhat handsome, but when he arrived on my doorstep that morning and I saw him up close for the first time, that confirmed it. At that point, I had my mind made up.
