So I’d been using Whisper for a little while. I just thought it would be fun to flirt anonymously like revisiting my younger days of chatrooms on AOL. Mostly it’s oversaturated with guys asking for hook-ups which I can’t imagine is very effective. Occasionally, I’d get into a good conversation with a girl, there’d be some flirting or sexting and we’d eventually swap pictures. Most of the time I wouldn’t find them to be my type in terms of physical attraction and those that were attractive would go MIA after a while. I’ve noticed that Whisper is an experience of impulse for a lot of users. You have your one conversation and then move on. So the likelihood of establishing something genuine is rare.
However, I started casually talking to with one girl (21) and it turned to what our interests were. That led to me talking about my photography hobby. One thing I’ve always enjoyed shooting is boudoir. I started out practicing on girlfriends and then when I was confident enough, I would advertise on CL (when that was still allowed) or find models looking to do trade shoots. I’ve always just done it for fun, though my skill level is probably at the point where I could make a side business out of it, but it seems like a female dominated area of photography.
