…and we began since then what I should call a romantic relationship based on geekiness, sex and a bit of emotional insecurities. Us two, not with the roommate.
I’ve known him for a year and a half from various classes, we are both (massive?) art history geeks, but he is (at a fetish level, I’d say) into Renaissance and such while I’m into Modern and such. Our first interaction was me contradicting his (way too) pro-classics point of view in a certain class and I couldn’t really stand him and I still can’t say I do. He is a stubborn man and rude at times, but so do I, at times. With this we managed in this last semester to end up having a common ground in criticizing bad or wrong projects of others, in a polite way, as much a critique trying to prove that someone missed the big picture or even went a bit racist can be.
Needless to say, I end up getting quite attracted to this duo power dynamic and I began to sit next to him and gossip like two little devils. He opened up in the end and we began to chat online more frequently and so on and so forth.
