The midday heat had started to wane, but it was still hot enough outside to be uncomfortable. The kids were unaffected however, running around outside free from the classrooms for at least two more weeks. Parents took shelter in what shade they could find for the next hour or so until the sun set.
Aaron walked down the tree lined street of the suburban neighborhood. A line of affluent houses on one side, and the neighborhood park on the other. It was just a few short blocks from the train station to his home, but the walk was afforded him a great view of the local scenery.
It wasn’t the meticulously maintained home gardens or the tree blends that lined the side walk that interested Aaron. It was the two sisters, back from their junior and senior year at college, getting ready for the fall semester.
