In college I worked as a martial arts instructor. It was mostly a part time gig to help pay for food and text books. I enjoyed martial arts and liked working with children, so teaching was a breeze. Occasionally, I’d come across a mom who was attracted to me. I was young and in shape, not really tall but I frequently worked out so I was well built.
I was hit on by the hot mom here and there but there was one mom who always stood out to me. Her name was Lisa. She wasn’t a super model or even drop dead gorgeous. She was pretty, she had short hair that was frequently worn in a pony tail, soft blue eyes, olive skin. She had a figure to her but having still had some baby weight. Her personality is what drew me in. She was so…real. Just a genuine down home person. If you’ve ever met someone who is just naturally pleasant, then you know what I mean. She was so soft and nurturing with her kids, we’d joke and she’d laugh and it’d be a genuine laugh, not just a flirty one like some of the other parents. Over 6 months of teaching her kids martial arts, we developed a bond with each other. We were both into football and fans of rival teams. (She liked the Eagles and I love the Giants) she would always wear a Eagles jersey when they beat the Giants (which was frequently 🙄) and we’d get a good laugh out of it.
