It has been five years since I am in Pune. I still remember the day I cam here and when my dad came to drop me. Teary eyed, he was having hard time saying good bye to his only son. Frankly I too was feeling bad. After all his Abhi was going to stay alone in an alien city for the first time. Abhi for Abhimanyu that is what all use to call me.Why my parents decided to name me after a person who was killed in battle still baffles me. I tired asking but never found satisfactory answers. I had never been out of my hometown which means I was never out of their eye sight for a long time. The most I can recollect is when I had to go for some school camp which was about three or five days. My mom is a very sentimental person, so when I told her that I had to move to Pune for my job, she did not talk to me for the whole day. My mom cried so much when I was leaving that I almost had a change of heart and decided that I better live with my parents with some meager salary than work for some reputed company. After all what is the use of all the money when you don’t have your loved ones with you to enjoy it.
