Every year I like to try a new experience, a new skill just to keep things interesting. That’s how Ruth and I met, she was the energetic tutor for my new sword fighting class (that’s not a euphemism!). The thing about sword fighting is that it’s quite physical, and the tutors tend to be a more tactile than in most other sports, “Get your shoulder here”, “push that leg back a bit”. Considering Ruth was a 5′ 8″, fit and incredibly athletic woman with a beautiful hourglass figure, learning was made all the more enjoyable.
I will admit, somewhat salaciously, that just from time to time, I did make the occasional deliberate error, just to feel her hands on my leg here, or an arm there.
