Essential backstory. My friend dated this girl for over two years in college, and graduated first and got busy with competitive exams, and his girlfriend at the time, who was also really good friends with me, I would say even closer to me than my friend was at the time. She later emotionally cheated on my friend with another guy, who showered her with attention, while my best friend lost his father and had to focus on other aspects of his life. She always loved attention and subtly used to flirt with me too, although I was oblivious to the fact. She dumped my best friend. I lost all respect towards her, stopped talking to her, and made clear why I stopped talking to her.
I ended up getting back in contact with her a few months later, wondering if I treated her wrong, only to find out that she is dating the guy she cheated with now. Another big moment of loss of respect, but I would respond to her texts whenever she reached out to me. After not having met her in over a year, she suggested we meet up, since I’m visiting the city she lives in.
