After my second year in college, studying tourism/geography, I decided to look for a part-time job. I thought it would be easy enough to get one as a hotel receptionist or something but that didn’t happen. Eventually I got hired in a small company that was managing corporate travel.
There were 2 guys with good connections that managed hotel bookings and flights for local businesses and their partners that got into town. So I took over some of the phone talking and mail stuff while they searched for new leads and such.
