Waxing myself in college [F]

Hey all :) I recently went to the waxing salon to get my hair cleaned up but I thought I would tell my story of the first time I waxed so you can vicariously live through my life.

I was 20 years old at the time living in an off campus apartment 2 blocks from campus. Up to this point I usually just used a razor in the shower to clean myself up but as a special birthday present to my boyfriend at the time I thought I would give my little girl a wax to impress him. He would occasionally make comments when he fingered me or went down on me about how much he liked that I was trimmed/shaved so I had a feeling he would like it even more if I waxed!

So I bought a waxing kit and had a Thursday night picked out to use it because we wouldn’t be hanging out. We were going out that weekend and I had read to wait ~ 24 hours after waxing before having sex. I took a shower after soccer practice, and just ate dinner wearing my robe in the living room. My roommate and teammate at the time asked why I didn’t bother to get dressed after practice and I told her my plan to wax after eating. Both to see if she had any tips but also so she wouldn’t be alarmed if she heard some yelps from my room.

I finished eating and grabbed the kit, read through the directions, and laid out a towel on my bedroom floor. I grabbed a little hand/pocket mirror to help me see what I was doing. I warmed up the wax in the microwave and went back into my room and sat on the towel. I grabbed the little popsicle stick and stirred the wax to a smooth consistency and laid out the strips of paper in front of me. I spread a small amount of wax on my inner thigh to make sure it wasn’t too hot and decided to proceed.

In order to wax you’re supposed to actually let your hair grow out a little bit but also keep it somewhat trimmed- there’s a balance between too long and not long enough.

I started applying a small two inch section of wax to the top of my trimmed pubes, quickly put on the paper and pushed it into the wax. Waited a few seconds for it to cool. One. Two. Three. Rip. “Oh shit” I panted under my breath. That hurt and it wasn’t even the most sensitive area! Ok, well maybe as I went along I would get used to the pain. That was wishful thinking. The next section I applied more wax thinking a larger surface area would mean less pain overall. Again I let the wax cool and harden, one, two, three… and pull. “Oh fuck!” I only managed to pull it half off leaving the other piece painfully dangling and a few pink/red spots of blood showed up.

My roommate heard and tapped on the door asking if I was ok. I wrapped myself in my robe, stood up, and said that I probably need a few glasses of wine before finishing. She poured me a big glass of Yellowtail (yay college prices!) and a shot of Captain Morgan we kept in the freezer. After the shot, and a glass and half of wine I was ready to try again. Reheated the wax, went back and continued.

Gotta say the liquid pain reliever helped – but it was still painful. I worked my way across my mound wax on, wax ripped painfully off. But I was buzzed so making quick work of the job. I was still worried about my more sensitive areas. So I started on the outside of my labia and slid the popsicle with wax over my hair in between my legs and yanked it off with the piece of paper. Ooooo boy getting way more sensitive in areas.

I grabbed my mirror and inspected my landscaping so far. I had my mound and one half of my opening all cleaned up. Gave myself a pep talk and finished up the final 25% or so. After 30 minutes I had my poor kitty completely bare, and blotchy pink/red and kinda puffy all around. I gently pressed on my pussy lips to open it up inspecting for any little hairs that were hiding.

What a whirlwind night but I definitely learned a few things about myself that night! Also happy I can go to a salon from now on.

  1. Were you all good for some weekend play? And what was his reaction? The questions needs answered lol

  2. Is it less painful for you by going to a salon and having it professionally done compared to doing it yourself? I ask, because I too have done it myself a few times, but I haven’t gone to a salon to have it done. Not yet at least
