Sounds more like confirmation bias to me. You might have run into a lot of closeted bisexual or curious men, but they’re not the majority. I’ll grant that there are more gay/bi men than lesbians and bi women, but nowhere near the majority.
I used to be friends with a gay guy who thought like this. I told him I was straight, but he seemed to be convinced that every straight guy was actually persuadable.
