TL;DR
My roommate and I have a unique relationship that we have slowly developed over time. It didn’t start as free-use. As we came up with rules it began to mold to it. One day a close friend asked us about our relationship. After explaining it he mentioned free use. We looked it up and redid several of our rules. Fully becoming free use. This has led to a lot of interesting stories over the past 4 years.
Complete Story.
Long-term committed relationships never really appealed to me. I also don’t like random hookups. Creating a bit of a dilemma for me. I developed a FWB relationship with a guy friend(bob) when I was around 19. When I turned 21 I had to find a place of my own. However, I couldn’t afford to live alone. Around the same time bob, my (FWB) found himself in a particularly serious issue. One I could help with if we got married. I could care less about marriage so it wasn’t like I would be losing anything. Plus he helped me get a place of my own.
Getting married didn’t change anything between us, we agreed to keep it as it had always been a FWB relationship. A few months after getting married and moving out. We ran into an issue where the simplest solution would be to just live together. We found a new place, moved in together, and created some basic house rules. We were both 22 atm.
I get asked a lot how our relationship even got started so hopefully that helps answer some of your questions. We have a lot of rules, many of which are specific and conditional of certain things. And listing them would be a nightmare. Feel free to ask anything in the comments if you’re curious about something in particular.
lastly I do plan on sharing more stories overtime. So hopefully this helps explain some stuff in my future and past stories I’ve shared.

Sounds like you basically have an open contract marriage, where one you can go date and play with others and each other as you wish. And it seems he can bring others in to play with you correct?
