My Mother-in-law caught my wife ‘cheating’ and so we were forced to tell her about our cuckold lifestyle. [MFF]

I should start by saying my wife and her mother have a very close and open relationship, I’d heard many stories about how nudity and sexual topics were never a big deal between them, especially as they had been to nude beaches together before, which was very hot to hear! However, shortly after my wife and I began to really delve into our cuckold lifestyle things took a bit of a turn neither of us really anticipated. Looking back we were a bit too relaxed with our ‘secret’ and have learned our lesson since this incident!

My wife was seeing a new guy and he had taken her out for a date one night, they ended up in a bar fairly local to our home. Cue instant panic, my wife is a terrible liar and had no comeback at all, her mother told her plainly that she better confess to me that she was cheating, how I didn’t deserve to be treated like that and how she would get involved if she didn’t come clean. (Honestly what a woman she is, so much respect for her to confront her own daughter and stick up for me like that).

I can honestly say my stomach dropped when my wife told me about the situation.. as much as I enjoy a bit of humiliation (obviously given our lifestyle choices) the thought of her mother finding this out totally mortified me!!

We discussed what to do, decided if we should pretend she had ‘cheated’ and told me, I’d act all shocked and sad, or if we should come clean and tell her the truth, of course my wife wanted to admit the truth so she didn’t look like a terrible person.

After much deliberation she convinced me the best action was to be honest, I was still very hesitant and was desperately trying to think of a way out of this (apparently moving away and never talking to her again wasn’t an option lol).

So my wife invited her mother round. My heart was in overdrive when she arrived and walked in, I could barely even look her in the eye already.

We sat down to an awkward silence for a while, until my wife finally comes clean with the most blunt admission she could muster.. “I wasn’t cheating when you saw me, he knows I was with another man that night, were in a cuckold relationship”.

Like seriously woman? THAT was how you wanted to admit it?

I couldn’t speak, I couldn’t look up off the floor as the awkward silence returned. Finally her mother spoke and asked quietly what cuckold meant?

However what happened next totally surprised me.. she started to giggle! She asked me if this was true? Seemly thinking we were joking, I admitted it was true while laughing nervously, as I felt my face go hot and bright red with embarrassment.

She remains quiet for a while again, then starts asking questions about it! My wife seemed to lose her filter completely and they start chatting as if they’re discussing something as casual as a family dinner!

Turns out my mother-in-law is very intrigued by this and rather than awkwardly leaving again as I’d hoped, she stayed for a good conversation to learn about cuckold while telling us how exciting and fun that sounds! How did it start? How often do we do it? Where do we meet the guys? What do I do while I’m watching? Does anyone else know?

I couldn’t believe how open and understanding she was to the idea, I really started to appreciate why my wife felt so comfortable talking to her about anything, even if I wanted to disappear forever by now and felt more embarrassed than ever in my life.

That was just the start to my mother-in-law knowing far more about me than I ever wished she would.
