“Well at least everyone is clothed this time!” Rachel joked as she entered Zachery and Anity’s small passenger cabin on the Rose Rocket. The two of them appeared to have been having a conversation on the edge of the bed.
“We could change that if you’d like?” Zachery chimed in with a hint of hopefulness.
Rachel giggled and shook her head, “thanks, but I actually was wondering if I could get your help in the smaller cargo hold. A bunch of stuff fell over when we were attacked, and I could use someone with strong arms to help me get everything arranged. Lisa is using the lifter bot right now, so I was…”
“Yeah sure I can help!” Zachery jumped up all excited. “Where are the boxes?”
“Follow me,” Rachel waved her hand and the two headed to the door. “We’ll only be a minute Anity, if that’s okay?”
“Yes, that’s fine,” came the muted response.
Lisa watched as Rachel and Zachery made their way into the small cargo hold. After a moment there was a small thump and some giggling, so Lisa took that as a sign Zachery was sufficiently distracted. She took a deep breath and headed into the passenger quarters where Anity was still sitting on the edge of the bed. Now was Lisa’s best chance to get to the bottom of this.
“Hey just wanted to see how you were doing,” Lisa said with a friendly wave as she walked in.
Anity looked up briefly, “I’m fine, thanks for checking.”
“You sure? You’re looking a bit down,” Lisa inquired.
“I’m just a bit tired, Zachery has been keeping me busy lately,” Anity replied, sounding a bit more nervous now.
“Oh, do you work for him?” Lisa asked, perhaps she was onto something.
“It’s kind of like that,” Anity admitted sheepishly, “I guess it’s my job to make him happy so everyone stays safe.”
Lisa was more than a little confused now, “Who are you keeping safe?” she asked.
Anity glanced over at the door fearfully, “um it’s…”
Lisa followed her gaze, and quickly shut the slider on the door. She dropped her voice a little “It’s okay, Rachel is keeping him distracted, you can tell me.”
Anity bit her lip and looked up at Lisa worried, there was silence for a moment and then she spoke in a hushed tone, “he’s not my boyfriend.”
“He’s not?” Lisa replied in surprise.
“No, he works for Black Claw,” Anity started explaining. “My town has a big mine. We used to work for the mining guild until Black Claw showed up. They took over the mines and forced everyone to work for them, even those who weren’t miners. Some of us resisted, but it didn’t go well.”
“Oh no, that’s horrible. I’m sorry you got caught up with them.” Lisa was never the best at comforting, but she was trying her best.
“Thanks,” Anity continued, “Anyway when they finally caught us. As punishment they were going to kill 50 random people to teach a lesson. But then the local boss, Zachery, stepped in and made a deal with us. As long as I kept him happy, and everyone else stayed in line, there’d be no killing.
Lisa’s eyes were wide as saucers “Oh wow, so you’re just with him…”
“To keep my friends and family safe.” Anity finished her sentence. “But it’s becoming more than I can handle, and I have no contact with my family either. I don’t even know if Zachery kept his end of the bargain.”
“Is there anything we can do to help?” Lisa asked.
“I don’t know, I don’t want to endanger anyone” Anity explained.
“We’ll think of something…” Lisa said training off and giving Anity’s hand a squeeze.
“Thank you,” Anity looked up at Lisa with hope in her eyes again, “but please be careful. I don’t want anyone else getting hurt by this.”
Lisa nodded in acknowledgment and headed towards the door, pouring over the options in her mind. Her gut had been right, but how could they even pull this off without endangering Anity and her family? She felt they really needed to try though, Lisa went to check on how Rachel and Zachery were doing.
“Wow you moved all that quickly, thanks for the help!” Rachel was pouring on the praise and Zachery seemed excited to receive it.
“I grew up on a planet with heavy gravity, it made me a lot stronger than most guys!” Zachery was bragging, “Gave me lots of stamina too, I could do this all day. You have anything else you need moved?”
Rachel shook her head, “oh no that’s all Lisa told me about, you got everything organized and the room looks great!”
Zachery smiled and raised the an eyebrow, “are you sure there’s nothing else you need help with?”
Rachel shook her head, “nope, that’s all, thanks!”
Zachery’s smile grew larger and he began to take a few steps towards Rachel, “well if you don’t mind, I have a bit of a problem I could use help with.”
“Uh… what’s that?” Rachel said nervously taking a couple of steps back away from him.
“Anity’s been a bit tired this afternoon, not very exciting at all, but surely a small tight young thing like you has some energy to spare?” Zachery spoke directly and confidently.
“Um…” Rachel replied rather awkwardly. “I mean I don’t know, maybe, I guess so?”
“Don’t be coy, you know what you want girl, let me give it to you.” Zachery was standing face to face with her now, Rachel’s back was against the cool metal wall of the cargo bay.
“Well I mean you are very handsome and all but…” Rachel was stammering for words a bit.
“But what? You have a price? That’s fair, no matter, what do you want 1,000 credits? 5,000?” Zachery asked, “Just name your price already and drop your pants girl, I’m about to burst over here!”
“Um, if it’s alright I’m gonna…” Rachel started.
“You’re going to be worth 5,500” Zachery finished her sentence. He opened up his wristband and touched a few buttons. “There!” he announced triumphantly to Rachel, “The money is transferred now let do this, I’m gonna fuck you raw!”
“Wait! I never agreed t…” Rachel began to object but Zachery sealed her mouth with a kiss.
He was like a wild beast in heat, his arms wrapped quickly, his grasp was strong and firm as his hands dove around Rachel body and began probing her curves and folds.
Rachel pushed back a little “I mean, I don’t kn…” she managed to communicate before Zachery’s lips sealed on hers again. His left hand cupped around her head, holding her lips to his while his right hand had managed to dive into her shirt and was now roughly groping her left breast. He was grunting and groaning loudly with anticipation.
Just then the door swung open and Lisa stepped into the cargo room. “Oh! sorry!” she gasped in surprise upon seeing the two of them lip-locked in the corner.
Zachery turned around in surprise, and Rachel took advantage of the opportunity to wriggle free of his grasp and bolt past Lisa out the door. “We just finished up!” she gasped in passing as she pulled her shirt back up to its proper position.
Lisa looked at Zachery who just gave a confused shrug. “Um… I won’t ask. Anyway, thanks for giving us a hand. It looks nice.” Lisa said, still a bit bewildered.
“Oh it’s never a problem helping two beautiful ladies!” Zachery replied.
An awkward silence lingered a moment afterwards until Lisa broke it, “It’s much appreciated, I’ve got to go over some things with Rachel in the cockpit, feel free to grab something to eat or head back to your room.”
“Thanks, maybe me and Anity will have a quick nap then!” He replied, beginning to sound excited again.
Lisa left him standing there and headed into the cockpit where Rachel was already sitting. She was leaning back in one of the chairs, her hand holding her head.
“You okay?” Lisa asked with a bit of concern.
“Yeah I think so,” came the reply, “that guy gets absolutely wild when he’s horny.” Rachel took a breath and sat up straight. She locked eyes with Lisa and her face got serious “I’m really okay though, so what did you find out?”
Lisa told Rachel the whole story about Anity, her situation, and her family’s problems with Black Claw.
“Holy wow,” Rachel exclaimed upon hearing it all. “What do we do now though?”
Lisa flipped the security camera on to keep an eye on their guests and locked the cockpit door. It looked like they’d have a few minutes to discuss options as Zachery and Anity were joined at the hip in the guest bed again. Lisa made a mental note to swap the bedding when all this was over.
So now, what to do?
Option A: Try to stun Zachery and turn him into the authorities. We’d be looking at some punishment ourselves for helping him escape Nexer, but it’s probably minor if we turn him over and plead ignorance. It’s lower risk, but it doesn’t help Anity’s family. They might still be in danger if word gets back.
Option B: Take Zachery captive and change course for Anity’s planet. Let’s try to rescue her family, or maybe help them fight off the pirates. Having a captive as an ace up our sleeve gives us options. Super dangerous idea yes, but we’d have a chance to rescue Anity’s family before the pirates realized what we were doing.
Option C: This is really too dangerous, we’re not soldiers or rescuers and these are merciless pirates we’re talking about. Let’s just drop them off as scheduled and be on our way to Nova and our previous adventure.
Option D: Same as Option C, but we really need to clear our name with the authorities too. There’ll be a larger punishment without turning in Zachery, but at least we wouldn’t have a bounty on our heads or be viewed as criminals in the eyes of the law.
