[F] With questions for the writers and the readers…

*If this isn’t the sub for this I apologize in advance.*

I’m new to erotic writing. So far, I’ve just been sharing true stories from my past. I still have a few more non-fiction pieces to share, but eventually I want to write more fiction in this genre. For me, the best way to learn how to write is to read…a lot.

There’s so much content out there and I have no clue where to even begin. My hope is that my fellow redditors can help point me in the right direction.

Can you guys share pieces that you enjoyed? And/or name other writers on reddit that produce and share fiction/non-fiction erotic writing? It would be really helpful if you add what makes their writing appeal to you.

If there are any writers reading this. Are there any resources that you’ve found helpful in improving your erotic writing?

  1. New myself. Please share any information you find, I would love to know.

  2. Stjepan Sejic’s Sunstone is the piece of work that made me write erotic stories. It’s just fucking beautiful, well written, hilarious, and so, so sexy!

  3. I try to read as many stories as possible of the genre I wish to write. This way you can get an idea about what is popular in the genre, and also can see how the best rated stories are written.

Also, I would suggest to just write whatever comes to you and edit it at least twice before publishing (You can use free tools like [grammarly.com](https://grammarly.com) to help you). Editing is where you really learn to write, in my opinion.

Good places for stories are [literotica.com](https://literotica.com) and I personally love [thefetlibrary.com](https://thefetlibrary.com) . On both websites you can search by tags and categories to find stories that suit your tastes.

  4. *The Story of O* is a good read, but I would recommend better reading-for-writing than what you’ll find in most erotic lit. Read Austin and Dickens if you really want to improve your storytelling and writing.

  5. Storiesonline has several articles on its author’s resource page that you may find helpful.
