I [F] spent five weeks a with poly tribe in the Amazon, AMA

Summary: I was extremely depressed and suicidal because of some trauma. I learned about the ancient Ayahuasca ceremonies that helped people overcome their trauma and set out to find a non commercialized place to do it. With the help of a Brazilian friend I was eventually able to find a person who was the sole contact for a very isolated tribe of people. Most importantly they were had a shaman who sometimes took in outsiders and helped them. A week later I arrived at their settlement. I couldn’t communicate well, but could tell everyone was extremely friendly.

My Ayahuasca ceremony lasted 6 days and afterwards I felt brand new. I felt intense gratitude towards the tribe and I decided to stay a little longer.

They were polyamorist and sex was rarely done in privacy. Their view on sex was very different from what I grew up with (US). There were many purposes for sex, many specific rituals that helped individuals who partook come out with a better understanding and love for each other. I had watched them with fascination for a week before I joined. As a pale skinned woman I obviously stood out. I learned what features of the body men sexualized. For example it turned out the men cared little about the breasts of the woman, but had their eye on the woman’s mouth. A symmetrical jaw and lighter colors for the lips and tounge were coveted.

This was because the women’s mouth was very involved in almost all the rituals I saw. After a couple of weeks I started to stop questioning their practices and just learn and do them myself. I quickly learned that many of the rituals were very effective, at least for me. Particularly those for bonding with a man or a another woman. These rituals were common place and you would always see a group of women strengthening their bond or a man and woman trying to deepen their understanding of each other. I suspect this is one reason everyone seems so friendly.

From my experience these practices greatly enhanced my sense of connection when I slept with the men, it seemed to allow me to process their emotions without other communication. With the women I felt a level of trust and support that usually only comes from a years long friendship. I only was able to learn a few of these rituals during my short time there, but the relationships I formed were strong enough to last several years (hopefully Ill be back before they forget me).

As my time with the tribe ended and I went back. I realized how happy everyone of them seemed, they wore no masks to hide their true selves. I had a rough time adjusting back into “normal” life, much of it seemed pointless and utterly superficial.

I will be going back in the future as they invited me back.

Fun fact: I developed a strong oral and cum fetish from the rituals.

I cannot reveal any identifying information on the tribe. This is a promise I had to make to them in order for them to accept me.

  1. Thats wild. Id love to hear all about your experience on a podcast or something, i feel like it would be enlightening. Did this tribe use some kind of birth control? Any advice for someone that wants to experience the ayahuasca ceremony but doesnt know where to start?

  2. Are there any specific rituals that you are able to explain via writing, that you could share, or techniques/practices that would an open minded western would be able to practice?

  3. It sounds like you need to go back there and not come back here. Probably a better place than any place back here.

  4. Can you describe what rituals made you develop a cum fetish and why
