Chapter 1: Bungle in the Jungle:
(Warning: heavy themes of Mind break and N*n-C*ns*ent)
Psychics are a naturally distrusting bunch. Large groups of them normally create an air of anxiety, an undercurrent of paranoia that made any friendly interactions near impossible. After all, who knows better then the psychics themselves how easy it is to drop your guard at a party. The psyhic course Reilly had attended had been almost unbearable due to this atmosphere. Reilly had dreaded her assignment to this group of more then 100 psychics for that same reason. How could she work with these other officers if none of them could even get close to trusting each other?
However, the Psyhic Task Force didn’t have this atmosphere at all. Even as she walked up the marble steps and through the glass doors, she couldn’t sense any sort of extreme paranoia. Granted, there was still some anxiety, but this was expected of anyone trying to hunt down rogue psychics. But none of this was directed at their fellow officers, and that simply amazed her.
Reilly was directed to her supervisor’s office by the secretary. A few flights of stairs later, she arrived and knocked on the door labeled “Officer Laine”.
A female voice rang out “Come in”
Reilly opened the door to see a very stern looking women sitting at the desk. Officer Laine’s hair was brown and cut short, barely going past her ears. Her uniform was stereotypical of a Psyhic, made to express and exaggerate her sexual features. In Laine’s case, this meant tighter around the chest and deep cleavage. Reillly had never liked this part of the Psychic culture, as it made life uncomfortably close to a bad porno.
“Welcome Officer…Pinder?” Laine raised an eyebrow.
Reilly nodded “Yes Ma’am”
“Sit down” Reilly nodded and sat on a small couch to the right of the door.
Officer Laine sighed and looked through some files “Sorry if I keep this short, you’ve caught the department at a bad time. Our latest case has required the attention of almost the entire department, and that will probably include you”
Reilly nodded and tried to remain as dignified as she could on the small couch, despite sinking into it.
“According to this, you received training from Browes Psychix.” Laine rolled her eyes “Just to be sure you didn’t sleep with a professor, give me a quick rundown of the Psychic guidelines”
It was Reilly’s turn to roll her eyes. They had been drilled on these for hours.
“1-Always know your targets personality. 2-Never let your target know your personality. 3. Remain hidden until you’ve already won the duel”
Officer Laine nodded and chuckled. “I would have preferred you slept with a professor. We’ll have to drill those rules out of you. The fun thing about our Task Force is that we’re forced to break all of those guidelines and more.”
Reilly tried to contain her shock, but Officer Laine ignored her if she saw anything “Im going to have you go through some files. They’ll be examples of what not to do when dealing with rogue psyhics. They will also be related to the case were focusing in right now.”
Reilly was given a sizable box and directed to a small cubicle on the third floor. She found it difficult to believe that this Task Force ignored the guidelines for psychics. She supposed that it had something to do with the way the Task Force had to operate in the public eye, rather then in the shadows like most psychics preferred.
The first file was dated six months ago. On the front, it stated that three Officer’s had been taken down and enslaved.
—Six Months Previously—
Officer Miya had been with the Task Force for three months, and was credited with taking down 6 rogue psychics, one of which had managed to amass a harem of 15 followers. She was well respected, and now was given the opportunity to train new Officers in Psychic dueling.
The new recruit was Officer Collins, and the communications expert was Officer Joel.
“Now normally we prefer groups of three Officers for bigger targets” Officer Miya spoke while she drove. “And groups of two for the kind we’re about to encounter. However, ill be here to show you our procedure”
Officer Joel sat in the back of the van, his legs crossed as he messed with some ear pieces “Now, my job is to make sure no one sneaks up on you, and to call for backup if things get out of hand. If the psychic gets into your head, we should be able to get more officers there before he actually breaks you”
Collins nodded as she wrote down in a notebook, her hands shaking subtlety. When asked why she wrote everything down, she had simply said “Writing things once makes it easier to memorize”
They pulled in front of a small house. It had two floors, and a fountain in the front yard. Miya put the car into park and leaned back in her seat. “Alright, give me the rundown on the rogue.”
Collins closed her notebook and looked at the house. “House is in the name of Elizabeth Graff. Her friends stated that they hadn’t seen her in a few weeks, and that when they called her she seemed different. Way too happy and aloof. They came here and thought they saw the rogue through the window. They had never seen him before, and when they tried to bring him up in a second phone call, Ms.Graff hung up. They then immediately called us”
Joel chuckled “Just like the file. Is there anything you can extrapolate from that data?”
Collins looked at him and thought hard for a moment. “He hasn’t tried to go after her friends…so it can be assumed that he doesn’t have the power to take over multiple people. He needs them one on one, and probably needs time.”
Miya gave her a thumbs up. “Great work. We can also guess that this is his first offense. The neighbors say they haven’t seen either of them leave the house in a few days, so he’s probably having the time of his life fucking her sideways.”
Joel didn’t look up from the earpieces “Try to be less blunt, we’re being recorded”
Miya shrugged “Eat my ass, they’ll bleep it out anyway.” She turns to Collins “You ready to break in your first rogue?”
Collins smiled “ohhh yea”
Joel handed each of them an earpiece. “I doubt it will matter, but if I see something go wrong on your chest cam or outside the house, ill tell you.”
Collins and Miya left the van, while Joel stayed back and monitored the cameras. The walk up to the house felt very long for the anxious Collins. Miya felt very good about this assignment, and was sure they would be done within half an hour.
Then they reached the front door. Before Miya could knock, it opened. There was Ms.Graff, wearing nothing to cover her naked body. Her body was drenched with sweat, and she smiled at them. “Welcome, please do come in, the master has been expecting you”
Miya put a hand on Collins shoulder and Joel hissed through the earpiece “Put all of your power into defending your mind! This may have been more then we were expecting”
Collins whispered quietly as they walked through the front door. “What do you mean?”
“No novice is that confident when we arrive” he said simply
The inside of the house was surprisingly clean. Sitting on the couch was a somewhat attractive man, looking to be in his early twenties. He smiles up at them and points to the couch opposite of him. “Please sit, im sure we have much to discuss Officers Miya and Collins”
Miya stiffened up, and Collins did her best to focus on her mind. If he knows the name of a new recruit, what else does he know? Miya thought to herself. Miya nodded at Collins, and they both sat on the couch.
“Thank you, now I’m guessing you’re here because Liz’s friends were worried for her?” The man leaned back into the couch and crossed his legs.
Ms.Graff pouted as she brought in a tray of tea from the kitchen. “I did my best to tell them I was OK, but they just wouldn’t listen”
The man laughed and poured himself a cup of the tea. “That’s to be expected, your mind was shattered just hours before hand. You were lucky you could speak in sentences”
Miya frowned and began attempting to probe his mind “So you admit that you used psychic abilities to control her”
The man looked at her and tilted his head “Thats why you’re here isn’t it? You’ve come to arrest me correct?”
Miya began to get impatient “Yes moherfucker. So stop pouring the tea and let’s get this overwith.”
The man put the teacup down and stretched his arms out. “I apologize, I have a bad habit of dragging things out. Before we begin, you may want to check on Officer Joel”
—The Present—
The recording cut out there. The next part of the file was a DVD, labeled “for the pigs”. She put it in the computer and jumped out of her seat when loud moaning and the slapping of skin on skin greeted her ears. Her screen was a view from a corner of the room, showing the living room that Officers Miya and Collins had been in. On one couch, Collins was staring up at the ceiling blankly while playing with her tits. Cum was dripping out of her pussy and onto the carpet. The man had Miya bent over the couch, all looks of defiance replaced by sheer euphoria in the officers face. Officer Joel was on the floor, his ass in the air and dripping out cum, his dick trapped in a chastity cage.
“He sends those after every broken Officer”
Reilley jumped again and turned around to see Officer Laine. “H-how many has he done this to?”
Laine kicked the box sitting at the floor of the cubicle “Enough times that we have another one of these in my office filled with files. The bastard always cuts off communications just before we see how powerful he is. He sends us the video of them after they’re broken, to mock us” she pulls a chair towards her and sits. “That was the first event. After that, it’s been one Officer right after another.”
Reilly paused the screen and looked at Miya’s face. She shivered, remembering a similar look on her Mother’s face years ago…
