When I turned 18 in February last year me and my family went on Holiday to Spain. Normally we’d spend our holidays by a pool side but that year we decided to go to the beach. When we got there I took my clothes off so I just had my bikini on however it didn’t take long for me to realise that it was a nude beach and women were aloud to take off their bras. It took no interest in me though as I wasn’t going to take my bra off and show my boobs in front of my family because that would be awkward.
I had fun there and swam in the sea until I needed to go pee. I told my parents I was going to find a toilet but I had no idea where one was. I walked around what felt like half a mile down the beach before I found one. Once I used it I had the sudden realisation of how far I was from my family and that no one would see me if I took off my bra.
I took it off in the toilets and composed myself as I was pretty nervous on doing this and stepped outside. I quickly felt so free and I’ve never had such a nice feeling like that before, exposing my boobs in a public area was so incredible. Instead of going back to my family I decided to walk around the area of the beach I was in and go for a quick dip. I think I got a few compliments but I’m not sure as everyone who said something spoke Spanish.
After around 10 minutes I decided to put my bra back on and go back down the beach to reunite with my family but simply taking my bra off in a public area felt so good and I haven’t felt something like that since. I can’t wait for my next holiday so I can do the same thing again.

I’m from Spain originally and in Spain, women can be topless in any beach. The same way men can.
Nude beaches are a different story. Most of them you would not see anyone wearing swimsuits.
After that short clarification, thanks for telling your story. It’s so refreshing to read how free and wonderful someone feels in a situation like that. Very inspiring!

My wife and I regularly visit Spanish friends in Andalucía. They are Naturists, like us, and they tell us that it is not illegal to be naked on the beach in Spain. You are just expected to be reasonable. Walk 400 metres from the entry point on most quiet beaches and most people are naked. Not everyone, but people don’t make a big deal about it.
