[FM] Two years ago I (47M) divorced my wife and started dating a gorgeous college student (22F). We’re still together, she’s moved in, the sex is phenomenal and and I haven’t looked back

A few details for the curious:

We met in a crossfit class while I was married. We had chemistry from the start but it remained platonic *until after my divorce.

For the first year we dated and we did some traveling together as well. Around this time last year she moved in with me, which was fortunate timing because of Covid.

I have two grown children around her age (19 and 22). They both get along with her great. (My ex, understandably, does not.)

To address theme of this sub, my sex life has gone from 0 to 60. The other day it occurred to me that I’ve almost certainly had more sex with my girlfriend in two years that I had with my ex in two decades — once or twice a day vs. once or twice a month. And my girlfriend is far more open sexually, inviting me to do things my ex would never even consider.

  14. Curious as to whether there were other compatibility issues with your ex beyond just sex? The reason that I ask is that I have been in your same shoes and it feels amazing to now be with a partner who is better aligned with my needs, is more open & giving. In my case, my ex and I were catastrophically mismatched in many other ways, although we did try to make it work for 5+ years. Thank God we didn’t have kids.
