I thik too many stories have “To be continued” at the end. It just really anoying.
Edit: I comepletely understand if the story works better as a eposodic tale, but it’s the shorter stories that abuse this. Especially when it cuts in the middle of the good part, or the story was mostly buildup.

I haven’t posted any long stories myself, but isn’t there an actual character limit on post size? I agree that asking people to beg for a continuation is bad form, however.

Some things such as the Kennedy and Chloe stories that are a long ongoing thing that is being written piece by piece work better in parts. Usually it’s something that could be a story in itself and those I think are fine. The only ones that are annoying are the ones leaving off right in the middle of an encounter.
Every time I see a part 2 or “more if I get karma,” I know the story is fake. Unfortunately, about 75% – 90% of the stories here are fake

Think about it, if you wrote something that took some effort, wouldn’t you want to know if people thought it was any good? People just want CONFIRMATION that this is even worthwhile to continue. People just aren’t confident when trying such things.

Not to mention first timers may not even realize HOW to post the story all at once, (Continue them in a comment string). I didn’t!

TL;DR So really, this is over blown. It’s hard to write, people don’t get that. Even more so if it’s the first time. So everyone, just try and enjoy the FREE smut that someone put effort into.

I must have been one of the posters that triggered this complaint. Just a couple days ago I ended a story essentially with a “to be continued.” I really wasn’t trying to offend anyone. I just finished the description of one night’s event, and I just haven’t had the time or inclination to write out a subsequent event.
It honestly didn’t occur to me that ending a story like this would be offensive. It’s the first time I ever posted a story like this. I’m new at this.
If I ever take the time to type out an experience again, I’ll be sure just to end it.
So I really am sorry. My intention was was to give a little bit of pleasure to some strangers out there. But I guess I had the opposite effect.

Usually I’m just too lazy to edit the umpteen amount of word pages in one sitting that some of my stories are. It makes my brain all gooey dude. So pretty much I’m really just a lazy fuck.

I know that when I come to subs like this one, what I hope to see at the top is someone who doesn’t feel like things get enough downvotes. Someone who wants to tell a writer, hey, I hate some decisions you made. That’s totally what should be at the top of this sub.
I completely agree with you, this is so annoying but you also gotta look at it as that its not just attention seeking but that it increases the confidence of the writer to show that what he did got other people happy and its probably the first time that person is sharing that story.
Also to add to OP can we get the person whos posting the story to stop saying that “this really happened,” if it really happened why do you gotta confirm it like that.

If your like me, writing the story kinda makes you horny. So the whole thing has this arc that ends with me jerking off and then being disinterested in the story for a while. In addition, part of the reason writing it turned me on is the thought that others may get off to it as well. So, I recently ended a story at a good stopping point as I really wanted to get off. I did, then was like – Why the fuk you tellin’ that private story. Then i was ashamed. 12 hrs later I am horny again and I fantasize that theres all these horny perverts like me excited for my story. That is motivating to me to write. So, i think acknowledging this from the writers perspective and just fucking cheer people on is a better lense to see this through. All great stories need to be coaxed out. So spill it motherfuckers. I am ready and I wanna hear more!
What annoys me more is complaint posts like these getting too many upvotes and giving me a hard time to sift through the better stories. Idc what “annoying” things users write, I just want a good sex story to read.
