It’s been just under a year since I last posted and as you may imagine, a lot has happened since.

Addie and I not only moved in together into a new house, we also got married. The wedding was small since we both preferred it to be with only family and a few close friends in attendance.

The argument got bigger and bigger and we ended up not talking to each other for a few days. Frankly, we both did not know how to deal with the situation.

I called my son and talked to him about the situation. He apologized and he said he knew the pictures were there but thought that since the laptop was not going to see the light of day anymore, he was not worried about anybody seeing those pictures. He also told me that whatever pictures he had on there, Audra had the same ones. In fact they used Audra’s phone to take the pictures. I didn’t know if I should even bring that up to Addie, but it was good to know that my son was not entirely at fault.

A few more days went by and though Addie and I started talking, things were still cold between us. A few days later, Addie handed me my son’s laptop and asked me to delete all the pictures. Her friend had enough sense to take the laptop away from her son as soon as she found out about the pictures.

I reset the computer to factory settings which meant I deleted everything in the hard drive. And I gave it back to Addie. She said thank you and actually smiled at me for the first time in several days.

That night I took a shower and when I was done, I saw Addie was sitting in her reading chair. I wondered and maybe take the risk.
