So I have a friend who I often hang out with and we will go to college parties every now and then, but recently he’s expressed that he’s had a thing for feet, which I’m not one to judge and gladly accepted him for it. Whenever I go to parties I have a pair of somewhat worn black low-top converse that I always wear with whatever outfit I’m rocking at the time, because I just feel like converse go so well with everything. But as of late, I’ve noticed that he would make more and more remarks about my feet like “how cute they look” and how he’d “love a sniff” but just as a joke. Well, the other day I was hanging out with him again and he said something very different this time – he asked if I’d be willing to cut the toe caps off my converse and just wear them around toeless from now on, no socks either so that my toes could be seen.
Now, I’m not completely sure if he asked me this just to satisfy his foot fetish or if he genuinely thinks it would be a great looking fashion statement for me, but I told him that was a pretty bold yet random thing to ask me, and so I’d have to think on it. So, what do you guys think I should do? I personally am very indifferent about the idea, like I think it’s a bit embarrassing especially because people will be able to see my toes INSIDE my converse, but at the same time I don’t think anyone’s done this before so maybe it could be unique. I don’t know!

So um… Have you or him ever heard of *sandals*? I honestly think it would just look absurd to cut the toe caps off your shoes. It is definitely just for his fetish, not because he thinks it would somehow objectively look stylish. Sometimes you don’t hear about people doing something because it’s just that bad of an idea… But that’s my opinion. You asked for it, so there it is lol
I mean, defo a fetish thing, not sure destroying your favorite shoes is worth playing to into it for him. But the fact your considering it is notable, you might try some other ways to help him if thats something your really thinking about. sandals? Put your feet in his lap?
