The last few months have been crazy busy at work and haven’t had much of a work life balance. My supervisor and I were on a special assignment to get ready for the end of the year meeting by our VP. We talked about how crazy it’s been and how her personal life has been taking a toll since she’s been working so much.

Me: life was so much easier back in the day where all I had to worry about was homework and basketball practice

Her: you’re telling me! Back then was so easy.. all I had to do was bat my eyelashes and I got what I wanted. Now I actually have to work! This sucks

Me: hahaha oh you had it like that and now you have to work? What a loser!

Her: I may not look like it now but back in the day I was actually hot and used it to my advantage. Now my husband won’t even look at me unless I have food for him.

Me: oh shit that got intense real quick.. I mean you look great to me!

Her: oh just you wait till you see me back in the day (she pulled up her old pics and showed me)
