That Massage Place Everyone’s Talking About, pt. 1 [F38/M25/M25] [Massage] [Toys] [MMF]

*This is a story I originally posted on Literotica a little while ago, but which was a little over Reddit’s character limit and so which I never posted here. However, after having a bit more luck with posting another story in two parts, I’m going to try the same tactic with this one. Part 2 will be up in the next few days- or, if you’re interested, the full story can be viewed here:* [*https://literotica.com/s/claires-toy-massage*](https://literotica.com/s/claires-toy-massage)

*Anyway…*

**

*‘This town in England has its own WILD massage parlour!’*

*‘They do WHAT for massage clients?!’*

*‘They say it’s just a spa, but… ’*

“Oh, for goodness’ sake.” May closed the browsing window and shook her head wearily. “It’s popping up everywhere, Charlie.”

Her assistant nodded gravely, though she could tell he was suppressing a smile of amusement. “Perhaps it’ll blow over. Internet clickbait, you see it all the time. People might just scroll on past.”

“And what about these?” May gestured to the screen, which was now showing the latest arrivals in her email inbox. “*Our town’s reputation… sordid little enterprise… as Mayor, it is your responsibility to safeguard our values…*” She called up one email and pointed damningly. “Look. These complaints aren’t going anywhere. If anything it’s gotten worse since they won the court ruling in June. Our popularity’s tanking-”

“Ah, the older vote.” This time Charlie was not as successful in hiding his smile. “Youngest mayor in a while, they’ve got you pegged as too socially relaxed- no pun intended, of course.”

“-*and* it’s clogging up proper business,” May concluded irritably. “How are we supposed to get anything done around here if we’re having to answer to all these?”

“I know,” Charlie said. “But like you said, they’ve got the ruling on their side. They’re not breaking any laws.”

“If we take their word for it,” May countered. “But you know it’s a stone’s throw from prostitution, and what do you think would happen if you had someone up in court for that- if they said it was all fine, they just made a *gift* of some money to someone and then *happened* to cop off with them afterwards? It would never stand up, word or no.”

Charlie shrugged. “What do you propose we do, then? Have the place searched? Police? Now *that* would make headlines.”

“No, no.” May shook her head. Goodness me, this was not what she’d signed up for when she’d run for office in her quiet little two-bit town. She’d been expecting minor rows about bin collections and public parks, not this. “Besides, they’d never find anything. Like I said, you really just do have to take people’s word for… well, what goes on in there. Oh, don’t,” she added curtly, as Charlie’s lips again threatened to break into a smirk. “I don’t know,” she surmised.

The assistant inclined his head. “Well, that’s what you’d need. According to the letter of the law, they’re not strictly providing a sexual service… or not one that’s illegal, anyway. And how would you ever get anyone to contradict them? Something tells me their customers probably don’t want to be on record talking about it.”

May furrowed her brow. A small idea was starting to take shape in her head. It wasn’t one she was entirely comfortable with, but she tossed out the next statement anyway, testing the waters ahead. “So in essence, to take any action against the place, we’d need to have someone who really could verify that they’re doing more than just what they claim they do; more than they said when they were taken to court the first time?”

Charlie narrowed his eyes slightly warily. “I suppose so?”

May nodded slowly, continuing her train of thought. “Right…” Surreptitiously, she took her phone out from her side pocket. “Charlie, have you ever heard of a mystery shopper?”

“Of course. We used to get them every month back at the-” Charlie stopped. “Oh no. Seriously?”

“Well, what’s your alternative?” May’s thumb hovered over the Contacts icon on her phone. “We send someone in to act as a customer, then they report back to us. Anything that goes beyond what they’re allowed to do in law, and we’ve got a witness.”

Charlie winced. “Good luck finding volunteers round the office for that one, mayor.”

“Not someone from here,” May clarified tersely. “God, imagine that in the news. No, I’ll find somebody. Somebody with a little less of an investment in the locality.”

In fact, she already had someone in mind.

**

“And the first person you thought of when you had this bright idea was me?” Claire asked, raising her eyebrows.

Her friend the mayor nodded in confirmation. Claire took a cautious sip of her green tea to give herself a moment to ponder the peculiarity of the situation. “Well, it’s a change, May,” she conceded. “I always used to be the one who came up with the mad ideas, not you.”

“Which is why I thought you might be able to lend a hand,” May said. “I won’t be offended if you say no, I understand it’s quite a request.”

May had been Claire’s friend since their university days- now what felt like a lifetime ago. Whilst May had gone more or less straight into local politics after their graduation, Claire had picked journalism, and the past two decades or so had been spent writing, questioning, blogging, and, naturally, searching high and low for new and unusual experiences about which to write, question and blog. May had on occasion been her long-suffering partner that she’d dragged into a few reckless activities during their reunions down the years, so perhaps now she owed her a favour in return- perhaps that was what May was counting on.

Claire set her cup down on the table. The set of lily-patterned crockery had been a staple every time she’d visited May since uni. Neither of her marriages had held up as reliably. “Right, so to summarise…” This would be up there with the strangest things she’d ever done- although the fact that such a list existed was probably why May had called her in for this job in the first place. “There’s someone in town that’s running a dodgy massage place, and I’ve got to find out how dodgy it is.” No point mincing words. You didn’t mince words when writing headlines.

May winced slightly. “As I’ve explained, it’s a little more complicated. What they *claim* they’re doing is entirely legal, apparently. For want of a better term it’s a *reputable* enterprise- they’ve got proper staff training and everything, proper legal representation, and the clientele is mixed but they’re all pretty well off.”

“Where’s the problem, then?” Claire asked mischievously.

May threw her hands up in exasperation. “Oh, come on. Do you think anyone there would be rushing to report it if they *were* breaking their own rules? Anyway, at the very least we’ve got to make some sort of inquiry, but none of us wants to be seen having any more contact with them than we have to. So that’s where you come in.”

Claire took another sip of her tea and smiled wryly. “So I swan in, ask for one of their… whatever it is they do, and then see what happens?”

May shrugged. “That’s about the short and the long of it, I suppose, if you’ll do it. I know this is ridiculous and we’re probably being stupid, but it’d be nice to put one over on these people so I might finally get back to doing some proper business in the office. Plus we’re trying to be inconspicuous, and you’re from out of town, and you’re-”

“-single and ready to mingle?”

May chuckled ruefully. “Not necessarily required to be one of their clients, apparently. Works for some couples, I suppose. But anyway… will you do it? I’ll reimburse you for whatever they charge.”

May gave her a mildly suppliant look. Claire had a predictably uneasy feeling in her belly- this scenario did sound a bit too bizarre even for her. But she did kind of owe her friend a favour, and who knew? Perhaps she’d even get an article out of it- under a pseudonym, naturally, and leaving the names and locations out; something told her May probably wouldn’t be best pleased if she got the place even more publicity. The thought of actually going through with it did make her feel a little flushed, but not entirely in a bad way. After all, people had to be paying that money for a reason, right? “What the hell?” Claire shrugged. “I’ll do it.”

**

‘Reputable’ was the word, alright. The building that housed the business was a fine old structure; tucked away down a side street, admittedly, but with a lush granite façade that Claire could have mistaken for a bank. A kind of antechamber led through a door to the main foyer- perhaps so that nobody inside would be seen by prying eyes from the street- which was brightly lit, open-plan with soft white leather furnishings and potted plants dotted in every conceivable space. Several other customers were dotted around in the seats, all around her age and… well, prim and proper, and entirely nonchalant as they looked up from their phones or magazines at the new arrival. Claire took all this in as she sidled up to the front desk, where a receptionist in a prim business suit was in the process of re-arranging a display of brochures. “Good morning,” she said brightly. “Do you have an appointment?”

“I do,” Claire nodded. “Mulligan, for 11am.” Dr Mulligan had been one of Claire and May’s least favourite lecturers in their first year. “But I’m a new customer, so I wasn’t quite sure what to book in for. Can you talk me through some of the options?”

“Of course…” The receptionist was scrolling on her computer. Claire let her gaze wander, and noted a sign on the wall behind the desk: FEATHER TOUCH. TANTRIC BODILY THERAPY. *So, that’s what the kids are calling it these days*; Claire smiled inwardly in faint amusement.

“Mulligan at 11?” Claire guessed, from the receptionist’s own slightly knowing smile, that she had probably learned to take any name clients arrived under with a punch of salt, but she continued with the same grace. “Well, you’re in for two hours, which is plenty of time for most of our treatments on offer. If you take a look through these brochures-” she produced several from the display, “-everything should be explained, and I’m sure you’ll find something to your liking.”

“Great…” Claire nodded. Then, doing her best to feign ignorance: “I wanted to ask as well, though… well, like I said I haven’t been here before, and to be honest, I was kind of surprised when I heard about this place. I would have thought it’d be against the law… or how exactly do the rules for these things work? Just so I know I’m definitely not landing myself in any trouble, you know-”

“Oh of course, I understand.” The receptionist nodded graciously, and Claire was mildly relieved; she was plenty used to asking probing questions, of course, but usually she didn’t have to beat around the bush about it. “And don’t be shy to ask; our priority is to ensure all our customers’ peace of mind and to ensure they can enjoy our services without anxiety or unease around the business model. Ms. Cribbins!” she suddenly called out. Claire turned, and a dark-haired woman with glasses stood up from her seat. “They’re ready for you now, the usual room.”

Ms. Cribbins disappeared through a set of double-doors, and the receptionist returned her attention to Claire. “Now, then…” She opened the first page of one of Claire’s brochures in front of her, entitled CUSTOMER INFORMATION. “All the legal jargon’s there, but I’ll do my best to summarise,” the receptionist said. “So the key factor when it comes to our tantric massages, and what the legal rulings recognise, is that *at no point do our massage therapists touch or stimulate your genitals*. That-” she flicked open a second pamphlet and held it up for Claire to see, “-is all taken care of by these.”

It took a moment for Claire to take in what was on the page, and then she realised she was looking at a wide collection of sex toys. “Our semi-automated sexual devices,” the receptionist continued. “They require minimal operation, and what little they do require can be carried out by the client themselves.”

Claire looked at the brochure with wide eyes. She was no novice when it came to sex toys; hell, she’d even written one or two articles on them in her time. This, however, was something altogether new to her, devices she was entirely unfamiliar with- and alongside them, some eccentric-looking contraptions and machines with the toys integrated into them. “Wow,” she said to herself. It was both impressive and a little intimidating. Claire cast an eye again over an illustration of one large device with some uncertainty, but she could also feel the usual old sense of excitement brewing that always accompanied the discovery of a new adventure or activity to take on- as well as the potential for a spicy new feature piece or blog entry.

“So you see,” the receptionist went on smoothly, “the tantric bodily therapy our staff provides serves to *complement* these devices. You receive your massage treatment whilst being stimulated by the devices- but our massage therapists do not sexually stimulate you directly, nor do they operate the devices that do. The fact that the two are happening at the same time is… unimportant, in the eyes of the law.”

You had to hand it to them, Claire thought. They’d put some planning into this. “And that really works?” she asked.

“Absolutely,” the receptionist replied. “It’s been through the courts. The massage is legal, and the toys are all classed as masturbatory aids, the sale or lease of which is perfectly legal as well. For all intents and purposes, you’re renting a room for a couple of hours and masturbating; you just happen to be getting a full-body massage at the same time.”

Claire was beginning to smirk a little again. “Right, so masturbating, but without any of the work.”

The receptionist may have smirked a little herself. “Something like that, yes.”

Claire returned her gaze to the brochure and began flicking through it. There were any number of options on offer, each with a little paragraph introducing them, and… gosh. Never mind the toys involved; there were vivid illustrations and diagrams of positions, and- Claire felt her mouth go a little dry- optional extras including restraints, blindfolds and various clamps. “Uh, maybe I should start out a little more low-key. What’s your most popular treatment?”

Without hesitation, the receptionist lifted the brochure from her hand and flipped through a few pages. “For female clients, this one here,” she said, spreading the page out on the desk. “We often recommend it for first-time clients, as well- it’s not too extreme.”

Claire read through the accompanying paragraph. *Classic Dual Pleasure Massage. Relax and unwind with a soft full-body oil massage from a pair of our leading therapists, before being joined by the twin joys of an automated sex machine and hands-free external vibrator*. On the overleaf was an image of both- the machine featured a silicon phallus on the end of a long appendage, whilst the hands-free vibrator came attached to what looked like a slim belt to be worn around the hips. “The machine and vibrator each have automated patterns,” the receptionist explained. “You’ll be given remotes for both- so you can shut them off at any time if you need; you also have to be the one to turn them on, I know it sounds silly but it has to be that way so our staff legally aren’t the ones using the devices. But after that, you can just lie back and let them do their work.”

“Ah…” Claire nodded vaguely. That familiar excitable feeling in the pit of her stomach was back, although the receptionist’s words had reminded her that she was, in fact, here for a different reason as well. “So it’s as strict as that, then? Not more, y’know… wink and nudge, what you do in the room is your business, stuff like that?”

The receptionist looked quite taken aback. “Not at all! No, we absolutely stick to the law by the letter. If you’re concerned any of our therapists might overstep or do something you’re not comfortable with, please don’t hesitate to say- we can have your session supervised, if it would ensure your peace of mind-”

“Oh no, no, that’s not necessary.” Claire now felt embarrassed. Well, she’d had to ask, hadn’t she? God, May would owe her a hell of a favour for all this. Still… she returned her gaze to the pamphlet. That didn’t mean she couldn’t enjoy herself while she was here. “This Dual Pleasure one sounds great. I’ll go for it.”

“Lovely.” The receptionist smiled and returned her gaze to her computer. “Let me just run that through now… would you prefer male or female massage therapists?”

“Male.” Claire turned a little pink- had this been a, well, *regular* massage parlour she’d always have opted for a masseuse, but she had never thought of other women in any sexual or romantic sense, and being massaged by two in *this* context wasn’t for her.

“Not a problem. And, the size of the dildo? Our default is seven inches insertable length and five inches circumference, but-”

“That sounds perfect,” Claire said, again a little pink.

“Alright… then you’re ready to go.” The receptionist finished on her computer and smiled up at her. “You’ll pay on the way out. I’ll just go and notify our therapists- please feel free to take a seat.”

She bustled out from behind the desk and disappeared through the double doors. Claire made her way over to one of the white leather sofas; the other customers had also moved on in the intervening time, and she found herself alone. She sat herself down, feeling both excitable and rather hot around the collar. Well, it was an adventure, alright, and they certainly seemed perfectly professional. Still, what did she make of it? The receptionist’s explanation had sounded plausible enough, although the set-up with all their remarkable gadgets seemed a bit too sci-fi. Were well-to-do debauchees really flocking here to be pleasured by machines, and was the staff involvement really as minimal as it was made out to be? Well, she’d soon find out, she supposed. Claire rested her chin on her hands. If nothing else, the place seemed respectable- and popular. A smile once again played around her lips- at least she’d see what all the fuss was about.

The receptionist had reappeared. “They’re ready for you now,” she said.
