I think you’ve misrecognized your problem. You know perfectly well how to get a guy. The problem is that this guy is your best friend’s Dad. The question that’s keeping you from going ahead and closing the deal are: How do I get with him without ruining my friendship with his daughter, or damaging their father-daughter relationship, or both? Most likely you can’t. But if you can, it’s for one reason only: Your friend approves. That’s what it all hinges on. So, either ask her directly, or try to discretely suss out her feelings about it, or go ahead knowing what you’re risking for yourself and two people you care about, or keep it in your stock of private fantasies.
