Platonic Friends 16 – Lame Excuse (fiction, 23M/23F/23F, Con, Friends, Roommates, Open Relation)

I stood there realizing exactly how *FUCKED* I was as **both** girls brought up very good points now that I was in this *weird* relationship with them.

The main **fact** was that I didn’t **check** in with either girl to see how they were doing after Emma had spiked our drinks causing us to have an no holds barred *Orgy*, or in our case no holds barred threesome, where I unloaded enough spunk into them to impregnate a few dozen girls.

I mean *yes* they were right I should have at least **text** ***both*** Emma **and** Felicity to see how they were doing and at least starting some type of dialogue. **AND** the few times I have been home I should have checked on Felicity to see how she was doing.

**But** I didn’t.

*And* I know this sounds dumb and sort of an excuse was **1** I don’t have Emma’s number so texting her is kind of hard because up until **this** moment Emma has always been Felicity’s **friend** so **why** would I need Emma’s number if up until now we had never done **anything** together, and no she never gave me her number **after** we started this whole thing. I mean **yes** I could have gotten Emma’s number **from** Felicity but I didn’t. And **2** up until now I had always respected Felicity’s privacy when she had her door closed and I was home.

Yes I know both excuses were shitty defenses but they are defenses to the problem at hand.

I looked over at Felicity who looked like she was almost finished cooking whatever she was cooking and decided to **test** my flimsy excuse to see if it gets me out of trouble, “I only left you alone because your door was closed. As you know I have **always** respected your privacy when your door was closed.”

Felicity stopped what she was doing to look over her shoulder and give me a *look* that told me that my **excuse** was in deed what I thought it was…..flimsy.

I mean the *look* wasn’t exactly the look of someone who instantly getting pissed **but** it did say she thought it was a lame *excuse*.

I continued, “Come on Felicity! Each time **we** have been home whenever you close your door I have **always** respected your privacy until you were ready to talk if you wanted. I **assumed** you were in your room juggling whatever issues you had with this *arrangement* until you were ready to either talk about it or face it.”

Felicity sighed audibly before resuming what she was doing as she spoke out loud, “He’s right Em. I was coming to terms with this arrangement after what we did.”

**HA!!!**

I was secretly fist pumping in my head that my *excuse* had worked at least getting out of trouble with Felicity.

Emma looked over at Felicity, “Really?”

Felicity nodded as she finished up and turned as she walked up to our dining table with a plate of food for herself, “Yeah,” as she sat down.

Emma continued, “I thought you said you were **ok** with this?”

Felicity looked at Emma, “I was but still after that night I thought I was ok with it **but** something happened.”

Emma spoke, “What??”

Felicity pointed her fork over to me, “Him.”

Like that answer was enough but I still was blinking. And obviously Emma was confused as she stared at Felicity before she spoke, “Elaborate.”

Felicity sighed, “I was expecting this to be *fun* and was preparing my mind to be open about all of this **but** after whatever **you** spiked us with to where he,” she pointed her fork at me again, “just kept fucking us until we **both** were exhausted I thought I could handle the *whole* open relationship **without** getting attached.”

She looked over at Emma, “I was wrong. Thanks to whatever happened that night I think I have **feelings** for **our** *LUG* and *think* I’m getting attached.”

Emma hissed out, “*Shit!*”

I looked over at Emma blinking and spoke, “Why are you saying ‘*shit*’?”

Emma looked at me, “**BECAUSE** I *think* I’m **beginning** to have feelings too.”

She looked at Felicity, “Why didn’t **you** tell me this **before** we decided to chew Neil out for not checking in with us?”

Felicity took a bite of her food before she shrugged, “Because I wasn’t sure.” She took another bite before looking at Emma, “Besides I’m not entirely sure **if** I have feelings for him or not so I wasn’t entirely ready to admit it.”

Emma spoke, “BITCH! You could have said something!”

Felicity looked at her, “And why didn’t **you** tell me about **your** feelings for him?”

Emma blushed but spoke, “Because **I** wasn’t ready either.”

She looked at Felicity, “**AND** I didn’t want to ruin **our** friendship and thought **we** agreed this was going to be stringless.”

Felicity nodded, “As did I.”

Emma spoke, “So what do **we** do? If you want him all to yourself say something **now** and I’ll back off and grow cobwebs until I find my own beau.”

Felicity lightly chuckled at Emma’s bluntness while I blinked at what was happening though I was glad I had *somehow* diverted the topic away from me as the girls hammered out their own issues in front of me.

Felicity spoke, “**I** think we should let *Neil* decide if **he** wants to continue our *unique*….” she squinted at Emma, “what did you call it? Our…….arrangement?”

Felicity shrugged before continuing, “Whatever we’re calling it. I still say **we** let Neil decide. If **he** wants to continue our weird arrangement then you and **I** will have to address our feelings until either of us changes our minds about this weirdness. But **I** would prefer if **we** were **honest** about it.”

Emma looked at Felicity for a moment before sighing and looking at me for a moment before looking at Felicity, “You sure?”

Felicity ate another bite of her food, which was making **my** stomach growl, before she looked at Emma, “We **all** agreed to it, Emma. I’m just keeping up with **my** agreement. If **you** want it to change **NOW** is your time and **I**’ll try to respect it.”

Emma squinted at Felicity, “So if **I** say I can’t handle the *openness* and tell you **I** want him to myself?”

Felicity looked at her, “Then **I**’ll have to accept that,” she looked at me, “if **he**,” she looked back at Emma, “feels the same way.”

She pointed her fork to Emma, “*However* if **Neil**,” she pointed her fork to me, “decides **he** wants *only* me then **you**,” she pointed her fork to Emma before putting it into her food, “have to deal with that. **Hence** why I suggest we let **Neil** decide **our** fate and let the chips reside where they fall.”

Emma looked at Felicity, “And our friendship?”

Felicity sighed as she looked at Emma, “No matter how it is I say **our** friendship has changed because of **our** choice to share a guy.” She shrugged, “I’d like to say no matter *which* way Neil chooses that *our* friendship won’t change **but** you and I both know it **will** change.”

Felicity’s stare changed to being serious, “But **we** both have to understand **we** made this decision together.”

Emma looked at Felicity and sighed before nodding, “You’re right.”

Emma stood up and walked over to Felicity as she stood next to her, “It was nice knowing you Felicity,” as she leaned down and kissed Felicity on the forehead causing Felicity to blink and stare at Emma wide eyed.

With that Emma stood up and started walking to me as she spoke, “It was fun while it lasted,” she leaned over as she kissed me on the cheek before she started walking towards the door.

I grabbed her wrist stopping her, “Where do you think **you**’re going?”

She looked over at me, “Away,” she pointed to Felicity, “I **know** you’re going to choose her so I’m not gonna try fighting the inevitable,” she looked at me, “so I’m saving myself from the heartache.”

She tried to pull her wrist away but I pulled her into me causing her to push against me as she spoke in a shaky voice, “Let me go!”

I looked down at her, “But I choose **YOU**,” as I saw tears begin to fill her eyes as she at me as she whispered, “*you do*?”

I nodded as I looked at Felicity as she held her head down, “**AND** ***I*** choose **you** as well,” causing Felicity to look up at me as she blinked and a tear fell from her eye.

I continued speaking, “I choose **us**….if it’s still on the table.”

I looked at Emma as she spoke softly her tears falling out of her eyes, “Why?”

I shrugged, “*Because* really don’t want **you** two to end your *friendship* over my dumb ass.”

I wrapped my arm around Emma and guided her to the table to join Felicity, “Besides I like your *feistiness* Emma.”

That caused Emma to lightly chuckle as I got to the table, “Just like I like your reservedness Felicity.”

Felicity smirked.

I helped Emma sit down at the table before I sat down and looked at **both** girls, “So here’s what **I** suggest.”

I looked at both girls to make sure they were listening as I continued, “We **all** help each other with our *issues* and *insecurities*.”

I pointed to both girls, “You both *help* remind me what it’s like to be in a relationship seeing how it’s been five years as I’m sure I have my own *insecurities* and *issues* to deal with.”

I pointed to Emma, “You **help** Felicity be more open,” I smirked, “and maybe a little more blunt.”

I pointed to Felicity, “And **you** ***help*** Emma recognize when to be more reserved.”

I looked at Emma, “No offense you’re kind of **blunt**….” I smirked at her, “like **ALL** the time.”

That made Emma smile and chuckle as she wiped the tears from her face as she blushed.

I looked at Felicity, “And no offense to you but your *hints* kind of suck so maybe being *blunt* might help you,” I smiled at her, “especially dealing with my,” I looked at Emma, “what’s the word **you** used?” I snapped my fingers and looked back at Felicity, “**MY** DENSE *ASS*.”

That made Felicity smirk and lightly chuckle as I looked at Emma, “And **you** could use some reservedness,” as I pointed to Felicity, “Which is where **you** come in.”

I leaned back to look at both girls, “All I’m saying is **WE** all have **issues** that we three could learn from each other.”

I saw that both girls were warmly smiling at me as leaned forward, “Does that sound like a deal?”

Both Felicity and Emma looked at each other before Felicity smirked, “I could use more *bluntness* in my life.” Which caused Emma to smirk, “And I could learn when to bite my tongue.”

Felicity spoke, “Friends?”

Emma thought it over before extending her hand, “Friends.”

Felicity smiled as she shook Emma’s hand.

I smiled, “There now we’re on the same page.”

Both looked at me warmly as I spoke, “Now I have a question.”

Both looked at me waiting for my question as I pointed to Felicity’s food, “Is there any *more* of that?”
