  1. Regarding the age rule: Do I have to mention the age of my characters in every part of a story, or is it okay when I do it in part I? I am just asking to be on the save side.

  2. Good job tanking your active member numbers with these new rules lol. Half the people here before were into brother/sister/cousin/aunt stuff!

Also its stupid to expect writers to state the ages of EVERY sex active character in their work.

I see that yet another Reddit group has been seized by woke censorship zealots.

  3. I feel like some kind of moron – Where do I read the rules? They’re not on the sidebar (of old reddit, anyhow), and I don’t have any idea where else they could be.

EDIT: They are in the sidebar in new Reddit, but not old Reddit. Huh. Interesting. Is there something that can be done about that, out of curiosity?

  4. Just saw this post. Posted stories today and yesterday without ages. I edited today’s story with the ages.

  5. Thank you for starting to enforce these rules. Moving forward I will post my stories with the 18+ in my heading. Again THANK YOU!!!!!

  6. I understand what you are trying to do here. I would like to support this effort. I am not sure how I am going to handle this. I have a story in the works that has over 800 characters. Most will be background characters but many could appear unnamed in descriptions which might be sexual in nature. Can I do something like [M18-25/F18-25] or do I have to explicitly list the age of every character?

  7. Are we permitted to post links to stories that are free or for sale, e.g. links to the amazon kindle store?

  8. Seems a little overly controlled and controlling especially for things that are simply stories and words. But I am a very big free speech proponent.

  9. I read the rules but didn’t see anything about fanfic or using characters or settings that aren’t original. As long as all characters are human adults, is it okay? Or is there a better sub for this?

  10. Hi. I apologize. Respectfully, I use an app most of the time that doesn’t show the rules, and I usually use “New” mode when using a browser, so I just noticed the new rules a couple weeks ago and I have been out of town since (life has been challenging lately). I have stories in this sub that violate the incest rule, including a storyline that has 30+ parts (note that I have NEVER written or posted anything underage). Will I need to go through and remove these stories or can older stories be “grandfathered” in? I will do whatever the sub requires, I would just like some clarity (and patience with a knucklehead like me). Again, my apologies for being late to notice. I will do what I need to comply. And thank you for your willingness to be the moderator of the sub, it can’t be easy. Thanks.
