Justin and Katie Part 1 [mf] [consensual] [work wife] [teasing]

Hey, everyone.

I started writing this a year ago and just came back to it. Let me know if you think something is there I would be more than happy to share more and if you guys really like it, I can keep going.

This was inspired by another Redittor who snapped a picture of herself in a similar dress that I describe the female in — ***Don’t worry, I cleared it with her to make sure it was OK that I used that as my muse.***

Thanks!!

# Part 1

Justin Wentz leaned over to get to Katie Karroll’s ear, “Yeah; like those old bastards did any of the heavy lifting on any of those accounts.”

Her perfume caught him off guard. Its subtle flowery hints had him linger closer to the nape of her neck for a beat longer than he anticipated which allowed him to get a closer look at the cleavage through the top of the swooping neckline of Katie’s green plaid dress. Nothing unprofessional, mind you; Katie couldn’t help that her body was curvy.

Katie looked up at his hazel eyes and smirked. “Everyone knows they didn’t, especially in our area,” she said with her lips brushing his ear.

There they were junior partners at a public relations firm holding their respective holiday beverages while listening to the head partner drone on about how retainer-contracts were through the roof in what was a great year.

Justin and Katie worked in the movies and television division for the firm. For three months before the party, they worked side-by-side putting in 90-hour work weeks to land the Disney-Plus arm of The Disney Company as clients. Each sacrificed anniversaries, and any other semblance of personal life, to land the account and earn their junior partnership.

During that time, they grew close as colleagues and learned about each other’s personal lives, too. Katie was married with a fur baby, as was Justin. Though many hours were spent in proximity, there was no tension between them. Until the party.

Justin felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand. He smiled — goofily, he felt — and nodded at Katie’s comment as he unconsciously put his hand on her lower back.

He leaned back in. “I am getting a refill. Want another?”

She turned slightly, her side up against him as she spoke. “I don’t know; I told Nick I wouldn’t be out too late, and I would be sober enough not to take an Uber.”

“You can have water, you know?”

“Isn’t it bad luck to drink water while everyone has alcohol?”

“That’s not a thing. Unless there’s a toast involved. Are we toasting?”

“Well, Scott is likely to end this monstrosity of a speech with a toast.”

“Yep.”

“And you wish bad luck on my house?” Katie asked while pinching Justin’s side.

Justin squirmed a bit.

“Not at all. I was just giving you an alternative, is all.”

“Wow! Poor Justin is so flustered he’s forgotten how to use proper grammar.”

Finding himself at a loss for words, Justin stared blankly at Katie.

She winked.

He could feel himself getting flush. Was it from the wink, or was it from his two drinks?

Justin started to walk away, but Katie pulled him back by his arm.

“Hey, I never told you what I wanted,” Katie said while pretending to pout.

“I assumed you were going to have another Jameson and ginger,” Justin said exasperated.

“You know what happens when you assume. Something about an ass somewhere,” Katie joked while providing a pensive look with her pointer finger on her chin.

*“I would love your ass in my face.” Justin thought.*

“So, what, then, would you like?” Justin asked as he squared his shoulders to Katie.

Katie took in his whole look in for the first time all night — his new Tom Ford tortoiseshell glasses, his tailored navy suit, gray shirt, green plaid Tie Bar tie (a coincidence that his tie matched her dress), and brown Johnston and Murphy penny loafers — feeling flush before quietly saying, “Jameson and ginger.”

Justin laughed. “Just as I thought.”

Katie watched Justin walk away and softly shuddered.

*“Damn; he looks and smells great tonight,” Katie thought.*

There was more imbibing, more mingling with the other junior partners, and more attempts at a shot of having even a quick conversation with a senior partner.

Before Katie knew it, it was 12:45 a.m. and the party was nowhere near dying out.

“Fuck!” Katie exclaimed.

“What’s the matter?” Mark from the music industry division asked with a quizzical look on his face.

“I can’t believe it’s 12:45 a.m. I have to get home,” Katie said sounding defeated.

“Hot date?” Mark winked as he asked.

“Talk to you later, Mark,” Katie said as she quickly scanned the room.

Katie and Justin locked eyes from across the room and for one reason or another Justin winked. Katie beamed as she walked toward him.

“I thought you weren’t staying late?” Justin asked as he chuckled.

“Yeah, I lost track of time,” Katie said looking defeated.

“Is Nick going to be pissed?” Justin asked, genuinely concerned.

“Probably,” Katie said before her shoulders slumped.

“Better order your Uber, then,” Justin said matter-of-factly and with a touch of disappointment. “Let me say my goodbyes.”

“Why do you need to say your goodbyes?” Katie asked.

“Well, I am leaving right behind you. It’s late. Better get home.”

“You’re going to drive?”

“Don’t be silly; I planned ahead. I took the subway.”

“I can only imagine what this place is going to charge me for leaving my car overnight.”

“Fuck that; it’s a company party. Put in a request for reimbursement. Tis the season, right?”

“I guess.”

Katie’s Uber was five minutes away, and Justin was saying his last goodbye before making his way to the coatroom.

They made their way slowly from the ballroom toward the valet parking area where the Uber driver was sure to be waiting.

Unconsciously, they walked close together — arms almost brushing as they swung — and slowly.

“Did you have fun tonight?” Justin asked.

The question startled Katie, who was focusing on trying not to brush Justin with her arm for fear of what she would do.

“Huh?” Katie finally mumbled.

“I know you’re hating yourself right now, but did you at least have fun tonight?”

“I made you speechless; so, yes, I had a blast.”

Justin chuckled. “That is a feat in and of itself. You should be proud of that,” he said as he pinched Katie’s side.

Katie squirmed before grabbing his arm with both hands and looking up at him.

“Well, that was not nice. At all,” Katie said.

“Consider it payback,” Justin said while flashing a smile and winking.

Katie slowly slid her hands down his arm and their fingers lingered on each other for a bit before Justin gave a little squeeze and let go.

They made it outside without exchanging any other words. As they got to the Uber, Justin opened the door for Katie. Katie turned to say goodnight and that’s when Justin pulled her in for a hug. They seemed to melt into each other. Justin’s left hand found Katie’s lower back, his right hand in between her shoulder blades as he pulled her tighter. He drank in her scent one more time before kissing her very softly on the forehead.

“Have a safe ride home and have a good night, hon. Tell Nick I owe him a Rangers game,” Justin said.

Katie smiled.

“You too, Justin.”

She entered the Uber and was beaming for the whole ride home.

Justin made his way to the C Train, smiling just as big as Katie.

  1. Absolutely, yes! With that kind of tension I wished they would find a hidden spot to get some release and/or head straight to a hotel room!
