Looking for Nookie Turned My Life Upside Down

I closed my eyes and slumped my head at my desk to sneak in a quick nap. My eyelids shot up as Nancy walked in and said, “You really should get some rest. The patients are going to be fine without you for a few hours. No one’s going to die.”

I smiled as I looked at her. I worked overtime not only because I loved looking after my patients, but it also gave me an excuse for being single. My parents were constantly on my case about not having had a serious relationship. I can’t say that I also wasn’t worried about it. After all, I’m a few years away from turning forty.

Once the wrinkles set in and the biological clock runs out, it’s over for me. Then, I can forget about marrying anyone, never mind the love of my life.

After Nancy walked out of my office, I closed my eyes and sighed. Feels like I’m never going to find him. What was so wrong with me wanting to find my equal? I don’t smoke or drink, so why can’t I expect the same of my partner? If I can study for seven years to make six figures, he should have the same amount of ambition as me.

I felt that my criteria for a husband were reasonable, but I was yet to meet him. I felt like the universe was deliberately keeping him away from my path.

When I got home, I jumped into the shower and rubbed the shampoo all over my body. My fingers lingered by my pussy for a bit longer than usual. I pictured him walking up behind me and running his hands over my ass before bending me over and giving it to me doggystyle.

After my nap, I browsed the web to see when the next speed dating event was. I checked my online dating account and saw several messages from boys who thought they were men. I shook my head as I read their messages. I’m never going to find him.

A few days later, during the speed dating, my suspicions of living alone for the rest of my life were confirmed. Most of the men who attended were divorcees or unemployed. The one guy seemed nice, but I didn’t like his teeth.

I got home and sighed as I slumped onto the sofa. I switched the TV on and watched a romance flick. The main character cheated on the woman with her best friend. Man can be such bastards. Why am I even bothering with finding Mr Perfect?

The following morning I walked into a patient’s room and saw Nancy checking his drip. She looked at me and said, “No luck, huh?”

I smiled, knowing that she knew I had tried to find a husband for the hundredth time and had failed. “Maybe, it’s just not meant for me,” I said.

“Or maybe, you need to have some fun while waiting for Prince Charming to arrive on his white horse.”

God knew that she was right. I had grown weary of using toys, but I felt that my body was a sacred temple, reserved only for my husband. “You really think so?”

“Yeah, I do. It’s time to take a load off and take a load in if you know what I mean?”

I smiled and looked down, then looked at Nancy with my eyebrows raised. “It’s not like me to do such a thing.”

“Girl, you never know when it’s your last day on Earth. You really wanna be waiting for something that might never come and withhold fun that you could be having? You gotta live while you’re alive. That’s what my momma used to say.”

“I guess it won’t hurt if I lower my standards for one night and find someone who’s just looking for fun,” I said.

Nancy smiled as she walked past me, then put her hand on my shoulder and nodded.

The popular cocktail bar downtown seemed like the perfect spot for someone looking for nookie. I put on high heels and a black skirt that revealed most of my legs. That wasn’t my regular look, but I had to be different to the everyday Matilda if I wanted to taste a dick.

I sat at the bar and sipped a virgin mojito. Most of the patrons standing next to me bumped me as they crammed the bar to get a drink. I closed my eyes and blew out a breath. This is not working out. I’m so out of here.

As I neared the exit, a man stepped in front of me and said, “Excuse me. Hope I’m not disturbing you.” I stopped. “I saw you sitting at the bar and didn’t approach because I thought that you were waiting for someone.”

“Something like that.”

“Seems like they didn’t show up. Their loss is my gain. Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Rob,” he said and stuck out his hand.

“Matilda.”

“Such a feminine and lady-like name. I love it.”

I smiled. Nobody had taken that much of a liking to my name. I couldn’t wait to tell him my profession and everything about my character. I was certain that he was going to love that.

“Can I get you a drink?” he asked.

“Sure. Nothing alcoholic.”

“Oh, you don’t drink?”

“It’s not my thing. I live healthy.”

“Nice.”

Rob returned with my drink and escorted me to a table before pulling out my chair. I loved that, and I couldn’t wait to see what else he had in store.

During our conversation, I noticed that he was mature, funny, intelligent and well-off. He seemed perfect.

When he asked to escort me to my place, I said, “Sure.” Rob possessed all of the characteristics I looked for in a man, and I felt that I wasn’t taking a risk by letting him deflower me.

At my place, I offered Rob sparkling water or coffee. “Sorry, I don’t have anything alcoholic.”

“It’s not a problem. Don’t worry about drinks. Come sit next to me.”

He stroked my leg, then kissed me. I reclined on the couch, and Rob removed his blazer, then got on top of me and kissed my neck. I raked my fingers through his hair and then pulled up my skirt so that I could open my legs.

He kneeled on the floor and pulled off my g-string, then stood up and pulled down his pants. My knees dug into the cushions as I leaned on the backrest and perked my bum up.

Rob put his left hand on my waist and stuck his dick inside me. I closed my eyes and shot out a moan. His girthy dick felt incredible inside my tight vagina. I feared the penetration but also couldn’t wait to see how it would make me feel.

I moaned as he thrust. A smile appeared on my face, and my eyebrows neared as I opened my eyes. It felt so good to have his dick inside me.

My forehead wrinkled, and I screamed as he penetrated harder. I felt my pussy stretch, and I wanted him to stretch it even more. “Give it to me,” I blurted out.

He pulled my hair, and I closed my eyes and raised my chin. The sex felt so dirty, but I was loving every second of it.

After Rob banged me for a few minutes, he pulled his dick out, and I dropped my head and panted.

I looked over my shoulder and saw him grab his tie. He told me to stand in front of him, with my back facing. He put the tie over my eyes and fastened it at the back of my head.

Rob grabbed my wrists, pulled them behind my back and told me to bend over.

His dick went into my vagina, and I screamed as he thrust, with my head dangling. Not having my vision made me concentrate on the feeling of his dick drilling me, making me climax.

He also climaxed, so he pushed me onto the couch and groaned as he came on my ass.

I pulled off the tie and smiled at him.

After we got dressed, I gave Rob my number and told him to call me.

The following day, Nancy walked into my office. “Ooh, what got into you? Or should I say, who?”

It must’ve been my aura that showed her I was relaxed. Maybe, it was the perpetual smile, plastered to my face. “I don’t know what you mean,” I said cheekily.

“Looks like someone had a good time.”

“Maybe,” I smiled.

“What’s his name?” asked Nancy. My phone rang. She smiled. “Looks like I’m about to find out.”

“Hello,” I said.

“Who am I speaking to?” asked a woman.

“This is Dr Matilda Myers.”

“Do you live at 32 West Street, Sundown?”

“Yes. How did you know that?”

“I’d like to know what the hell my husband was doing at your place last night?”

My eyes widened as a lump developed in my throat. “Your husband?”

“Yes. I’m married to Rob Lowe. I tracked his car movements this morning on the app and saw that he was at your place last night. Would you mind telling me what the hell is going on?” I froze. I didn’t know what to say, do or feel. The shock paralysed me. “Hello. Are you still there?” she added.

I hung up.

Nancy frowned. “Are you okay? Who was that?” I stood up and put my hand on my forehead. “Matilda, who was that?”

“It was the wife of the man who I was with last night.”

She stepped forward. “He’s married?”

I nodded. “I had no idea.”

My phone rang, and my eyes shot to it. Nancy looked at my reaction, then the phone. She answered, “Hello. This is Nancy Taylor, how many I help?”

I heard the wife say, “I want to speak to Dr Myers. Put her on now.”

“You’ve got the wrong number,” said Nancy, then hung up.

“Oh, my God. What am I gonna do?” I asked.

“Just stay calm. She doesn’t know what happened. His cheating is between her and the husband. It’s got nothing to do with you.”

I nodded, though I was unconvinced that I wouldn’t be dragged into the mess. I groaned before dunking my face into my palms. “Never should’ve slept with Rob. Should’ve just stayed a virgin.”

Nancy put her arms around me and rubbed my back. After I calmed down, she asked, “Are you going to be okay?”

I nodded.

When Nancy walked out, my phone rang again. It was the wife. I rejected the call. She called three more times before I switched off my phone.

At the end of the day, I walked to my car in the basement and felt that somebody was watching me. I looked behind me, but nobody was there.

On the way home, I saw a gold BMW following me. It kept its distance but remained behind me all the way to my house, then sped past once I turned into my driveway.

While sleeping, I jerked my head off the pillow and shot my eyes open as my phone rang. It was the wife. My heart started beating faster. I rejected the call and lowered my head to the pillow.

I heard a noise in the garden. It sounded like someone banged the wendy house door. I tip-toed to the window and peeked outside. Nobody was in the garden, but I saw that the wendy house door was open and kept banging against the frame. I barely slept that night.

I got to work an hour early the following morning. Nancy walked into my office. “How’ve you been?” she asked, concerned.

I frowned. “Why?”

“That woman from yesterday called the hospital, demanding to speak to you.”

I leaned forward. “What?” Nancy nodded. “How the hell did she find out where I work?”

“I don’t know, but she sounds crazy.”

“Do you think she knows I slept with her husband?”

“She suspects it, at the very least. Why else would she be badgering you like a crazy person?”

I closed my eyes. “Oh, my God. What have I done?”

“Call that guy and tell him to keep his bitch on a leash.”

“I don’t know his number. I only gave him mine.”

Nancy stepped towards me. “If I were you, I’d find protection. You never know who you’re dealing with.”

“You think?”

She nodded. “If she keeps harassing you, call the police.”

I bit my finger and nodded.

The wife called during lunchtime. I declined the call and blocked her number. Two minutes later, my phone rang. It was a landline number.

“Hello,” I said.

“Don’t you dare hang up. Who the hell are you -?”

I hung up.

My heart was bashing my chest. I reclined in my chair, looked up and breathed rapidly. My eyes were wide open as I thought about my next move.

I picked up my phone and called a police station. “Detective Olsen speaking. How may I help?”

“I’d like to report a stalker. Please, can you help me?”

“Sure, ma’am. I’m going to need you to come to the station and make a report so that I can open a case.”

I got into my car during lunchtime, and I saw the same gold BMW following me. When I stopped at a traffic light, the gold BMW slammed into me from behind. I jerked and banged my head on the steering wheel, then slowly lifted my head and looked at the rear-view mirror.

The driver reversed and headed towards me. I stepped on the gas, but she banged my rear again, boosting my pull-off.

I kept glancing at the rear-view mirror as I speeded towards the station. My heart felt like it was in my throat, and I kept gulping to inhale more oxygen.

Fortunately, I drove through a yellow light at an intersection, and the BMW driver got caught at a red light. My heartbeat slowed, but my hands were moist as I clenched the wheel.

When I walked into the station, a man approached me. He grabbed my arm and asked, “Are you okay?” I looked at his chest and shook my head as I compressed my lips. “I’m Detective Oelsen. Let’s talk in my office.”

He opened the door and pulled out a chair for me.

After I told him the story, he gave me his cellphone number and told me to save it on speed dial.

I got home late that night as I feared being alone. As I lay in bed, my eyes were closed, but my ears were open. When I heard a clamour, I snatched my phone off the nightstand and called the detective.

“I’m sure I heard someone,” I said.

“It’s normal for you to be in shock and overreact. I’m certain that nobody’s there. Look through your window and call me if you see anyone.”

I looked and didn’t see anyone. I held my phone in my arm the whole night.

When I walked into my office the following morning, Nancy stepped inside behind me. “You look shaken up. Is everything okay?”

“I went to see a detective yesterday.”

“Ooh. Is he cute?” asked Nancy.

I frowned. “What? I’m scared out of my mind, and you’re thinking about that.”

“Come on, Matilda. Spill it.”

I looked at the floor for a few seconds, then looked at her and smiled. “Kind of.”

She smiled and raised an eyebrow. “My momma said that everything happens for a reason. This whole nightmare with the married guy happened for a reason.”

When I got home that night, I called the detective. “Thanks for taking my call last night,” I said.

“My pleasure. If there’s anything else, let me know.”

“Actually, there is. I hope I’m not stepping over any boundaries, but I’d like to thank you for your help by inviting you over for dinner.”

“Sounds good. Message me the time and address.”

He came over on time. The more I got to know him, the more I saw that he was right up my alley. He didn’t make six figures, but I was willing to let that one slide.

At work the following day, I called him. “Thanks for coming over. I really enjoyed myself. Hope we can do it again.”

“Absolutely. Oh, by the way. We found who the gold BMW is registered to. It belongs to Patricia Lowe. I also received a report that Rob Lowe was shot this morning. My colleague, who’s in charge of the case, told me that his wife is the primary suspect. He’s on his way to arrest her, so you won’t have to worry about her anymore.”

“Thank God. I guess my colleague was right about everything happening for a reason. You and I never would’ve met had none of this happened.”

“I’m looking forward to getting to know you better, Matilda. You’re a fascinating woman.”
