As for women, the coming of womanhood is a far different tradition. Since the women of the tribe do not have to go through the trials that the men must to prove their manhood, their trials is a far more sacred one with less celebration and a focus upon the ritual itself.
During the day of her coming of age she would be taken by her mother and bathed in holy water in one of the sacred ponds. She will be prepared from head to toe, not a single surface being left untouched as her mother cleans her before draping her in jewels and traditional make up.
