Danica’s Untold Legacy | Chapter One: The New Job

Hi, I’m New-Worker-5768 and this is my first try at erotica. I thought I would give it a go. I wanted to try something different so I decided I would do a kind of fantasy world. The fantasy won’t be the main fix all of the story, just something to keep you interested. It all started with the new job. I was crashing at a friend’s apartment but I knew I couldn’t stay there forever, so I went looking for a job, just something to sustain me and give me some sort of experience since I dropped out of college and my parents had kicked me out when they found out. I flipped through the daily paper looking for job applications when I saw it, an ad for a junior assistant at Infernus Co. As far as I knew they were one of the biggest companies in the world, so I instantly went after it. With my resume mailed and mind made up, I prepared for what await me.

It was a Tuesday morning when I was called in for the interview. It was a hot and hazy mid-day and made sure to wear my best looking business casual wear. I was nervous but I knew I needed to ace this interview so I pushed all of that down and put on my game face. I walked in the Infernus Co building and all my previous preparation went out the window. I was completely awestruck the inside of the building. From the outside it looked like any other building, but on the inside I could have sworn it was a museum. Statues and what seemed to be ancient treasures retrofitted into building. I was so awestruck by the inside; my movement didn’t stop until I bumped into the front desk.

“Hello ma’am, would you happen to be Danica Waren?”. “Umm, yes I am. How do you know my na..”. I was cut off before I could finish questioning her. “Please head to the roof, your interview will be held there.” She said as she handed me a plain white key-card. “Okay, thank you.” I said puzzled as I headed towards the elevator. ‘How could she know my name and why is my interview being held on the roof.’ I thought to myself. I stepped in the elevator and pushed the button that said roof. The doors closed and the elevator started moving. I pushed those thoughts out of my head and composed myself because over everything, I needed to ace this interview.

I walked out of the elevator, slid the key-card through the card reader, open the door and walked out onto the roof. I became instantly distracted by the view from the roof.

Seeing over the entire city, even the ocean was visible. I must not have registered how the height building was because of my nervousness. I must have been staring out for at least five minutes when I was snapped back to my senses by a stern voice. “What are you doing here?”

The voice was harsh but soft. I instantly whipped around to face him, which was a bad idea. He was at least six feet tall. His ebony skin was complemented by his chiseled body, which was noticeable because of his tight white, shirt with rolled sleeves. His 5 o’clock shadow and hair was short and kempt was enough to transfix me on his steel-like gaze.

‘Why was he so sexy? I shouldn’t even be thinking about that right now!’“I don’t like to be kept waiting.” He said sounding ever more annoyed. “M-my name is Danica Waren, I’m here for my interview.” I stuttered out.“Oh, I’ve been expecting you.” He said, his tone starting to change. “My name is Dean Infernus.” As he said his name, my brain immediately went into ‘Oh Fuck’ mode. ‘He’s Dean Infernus, the owner of Infernus Co, and he’s been expecting me!’
