**The Pharmacist: Chapter 4**
_
The candle flickered a bit, when a gentle breeze from the window tapped the candle flame, breaking their moment.
Lilac closed her eyes, suddenly feeling the room’s chilliness, awaiting his answer.
Vincent leaned in again, planting a final kiss on her lips, and then pulled away from her, “Don’t you have more coursework to finish?”
*Goddamn psych. courses*. She tried to suppress the oncoming pout,“Yeah.”
Standing up, Vincent sighed, and Lilac swore she could make out the profile of his ongoing hardness under his jeans, “On another day I would completely take you up on that offer, but I know school is important for you and your future.”
He held out his hand and she took it in silent agreement as he helped pull her upright on the counter, “How about that dinner tomorrow night? 7pm at Carli’s?”
Lilac pretended to think about it as she pulled her top back down, refusing to display her mix of disappointment and excitement. “Hmm, I’ll see how much work my courses rack up tomorrow, and I’ll let you know?’
He smiled at her, adjusting his belt, “Sure thing.”
She walked him to the door, and as he slipped into his shoes, she flipped the lightswitch, illuminating the entire living room.
Just before stepping out the doorway, He gently took her chin in his hand, kissing her goodnight. And with that, he disappeared into the night.
Lilac shut the door, making sure to lock it.
She then remembered that Twilight had been inside the bedroom for longer than the cat usually liked. Lilac hurriedly ran to her bedroom, opened the door, and flipped on the lightswitch to her room. Twilight was just a white cloud huddled on her bed, evidently in a deep slumber.
Lilac breathed a sigh of relief, and went back out to the living room to pour herself another glass of rosé. *When in doubt, get some alcohol and then deal with your problems*.
Flipping off the lights to the living room, Lilac carried her phone, class notes, and the glass of rosé to her bedroom, and proceeded to shut the bedroom door. Somehow, she’d always felt her bedroom was worlds cozier in confinement.
Drinking rosé in one hand and reading notes off the other, Lilac studied her way through the night, eventually falling asleep at her desk.
Sometime during the night, Twilight had woken up and crawled into her lap to sleep, but she didn’t even notice. She was fast asleep, her dreams vividly filled with her desires for Vincent.
*Just behind the shelves of neatly hanging prescriptions ready for pickup, Vincent fervently thrusted in and out of her, his hands pressed over her lips to keep her from crying out. He quickly spun her around, grabbed her by the hair, forcing her to her knees, this time suppressing her moans with his erection deep down her throat, as they made their way back towards the pickup counter. And before she knew it, Lilac was noiselessly yelping, she just caught herself, her hands and arms against the wall to keep her face from slamming into the wall, as Vincent had her bent over, right under the counter. Just beyond the thin slit of glass, stood a customer, obliviously answering Vincent’s questions. Lilac bit her lip to keep from crying out, as she felt him throb from within her, and she felt her climax crashing over-*
With a jolt, Lilac snapped awake to the blaring, unwelcome sound of her alarm. After an initial moment of confusion, she was suddenly aware that she had left a wet patch through her shorts and onto her desk chair. Twilight gave a yelp and jumped out of her lap in surprise at the sudden movement. Lilac stood up, and then stretched down to give a series of apologetic caresses. Twilight contentedly sauntered back to her bed and Lilac checked the time on her phone.
It was way past noon, but that was alright, her class was in the afternoon anyway. Lilac went into the bathroom to tidy and wash up, and then came back out settling onto the bed next to Twilight.
She set out to continue finishing her assignments til submission, purposely having her phone set on “do not disturb” mode. To keep from distractions.
From the moment she opened her eyes this morning to her current snacking on pineapples, the hours almost felt like a blink of an eye.
Soon, it was nearly time to leave for class. Lilac checked her phone and cursed, she’d gone a few minutes over her usual time.
*I’ll just need to power walk to class.*
Hurriedly, she ran over to her closet to throw on a pair of dark ripped jeans, a tube top, and a thin cardigan. Opening the bedroom door, Lilac grabbed her class notes and phone, and made her way back out to the kitchen. She grabbed an apple from the fridge, and water bottle from the counter, threw them into her bag and then made her way to her favorite maroon booties. She briskly shut the front door behind her and made her way downstairs.
The walk to class was short, and Lilac arrived just in time for the start of class. The professor greeted the students in the auditorium and announced that they would be starting the day with the quiz, as promised. The students all sat in displeased silence as they waited for the professor to project the quiz questions onto the screen. Lilac felt her phone vibrate from inside her bag pressed against her leg. She itched to see if it was Vincent, but focused on the quiz. She willed herself not to look at the notification during class, and she diligently took notes and copied the professor’s words.
After what seemed like a lifetime later, the professor ended the class wishing the students an enjoyable weekend, for once only assigning a survey for their assignment, and reminding them that they still had a group project to submit in a couple weeks.
The students packed up their bags and headed for the door. Lilac followed, grateful to finally be done with her single class for the day.
Heading over to the nearest bench, Lilac shielded her phone screen from the sun to read the notifications.
* (Vincent) Let me know if you’re up for dinner. If so, I’d like to go all out. Pick you up from your apartment, and drive to the restaurant together.
* (Vincent) Your prescription is ready for pickup by the way.
* (Vincent) I’ll bring your prescription to you without extra charges ;)
Lilac snorted at the winky face, and began to craft her response:
* (Lilac) I’m down for dinner. And that would be great if you could get my prescription for me! Thanks :)
*What do I wear to dinner?*
Lilac dropped her phone back into her bag and began the walk back to her apartment.
Once she arrived back home, she took off her booties, and greeted Twilight with her favorite belly rubs.
She then walked over to the kitchen, took the bag of Meow Mix from the cupboard and absently poured out Twilight’s brunch into a bowl. Twilight padded over to her legs, patiently waiting for her meal. Lilac gently set the bowl down in front of the cat, and then wandered into her bedroom to hunt for the dinner outfit in her closet.
*I need inspiration.*
She placed her phone onto her desk, and brought music onto full volume: “Like That” by Doja Cat.
She stood afar from the closet, hands on her hips, absently swaying along to the music, taking in all of her accessories and articles of clothing, which were immaculately folded and in sorted arrangement on the shelves.
*Dark Jeans with a graphic tee? Nah, too college casual.*
*A-line skirt with a collared shirt? Ugh too schoolgirl.*
Lilac absently went through her jewelry drawer, and then suddenly a gleam of green caught her eye. She paused, her full attention now diverted to this object. She smirked, thinking of Vincent’s text saying he was going all out. *Going all out? Me too.*
Lilac skipped choosing a bra and settled for a spaghetti-strapped plum lace-trim satin bodycon dress, with a dark sheer long sleeve neatly tucked under. She turned to survey her appearance in the mirror. She turned the other way, checking to see how the fabric hit her curves. *Perfect.*
She turned to the front, she frowned and then reached over and grabbed a delicate gold necklace.
Putting it on, she nodded contented with the view.
*Tights or no? Always a yes.*
*Panties? Optional.*
Bending over, Lilac glanced back to the mirror, testing the view from the back. Sure enough, there was the desired effect, a brief gleam of the green and silver, just below the dark sheen of her taut tights, occupying her ass.
She heard her phone buzz, and she stood back up, heading to her desk to check it out.
* (Vincet) I’m downstairs, 2014 Civic.
* (Lilac) Kk
She gave Twilight a goodbye kiss on the top of her head, and then headed back out to the living room.
Slipping into her heeled booties, she grabbed her small red handbag instead, and made sure to put her keys, phone, wallet, and a few condoms into the interior pockets.
Lilac shut the door behind her, and locked the door. She smiled at her neighbor, a college guy, who just came up the stairs, and headed down the stairs herself, internally wondering if he had seen under her skirt from between the gaps of the steps on his way up.
Shaking the thought from her mind, she arrived by the 2014 Civic, where Vincent was looking over at her, already admiring her dressed-up look. He had his usually scruffy dark hair gently held to the side with gel, and was wearing a button down shirt, neatly tucked into his belted khakis.
She opened the door to the passenger seat and hopped on in, careful not to put too much pressure on her ass.
*I wonder if he noticed.*
Vincent smiled over at her, oblivious to her thoughts, “You look wonderful. Ready for some food?”
Lilac turned towards him, gave him a mischievous smile, “I sure am.”
