I spent my 22nd birthday at a club in the Meatpacking District, and I met a really sexy French guy there. We chatted for a bit, swapped numbers, and made plans to hang out. He was in the US for work in finance (I think), but he couldn’t have been more than entry-level because we were both freshly out of college.

A couple nights after the club, he let me know he was at a bar in my neck of the woods. I told him I was home watching “Almost Famous” and he was more than welcome to come by. He agreed. I thought, “Ugh. Really guy? I just wanted to cuddle and watch this film.” So, I tried setting the tone for that. I switched the movie back on, and he started making moves while we sat next to each other on the couch. It was kind of obnoxious. Eventually, I gave up, turned to him, and said, “Want to go to my room?”

This comment elated him. He probably thought he just accelerated his plans, and *now* he could enjoy the night the way he really wanted to. Well, he was in for a little treat. As soon as we got into my room, I pushed him on the bed and started kissing him. Some groping here, some neck kissing there, and then I commanded, “Take off all your clothes.”

Oh this wiped that cocky smile right off his face, but he obeyed. He shut off the lights. I turned them back on again. He looked very nervous and tried to protest, but I said, “No, I want to see you.”

Unprepared for this shift in control, he hesitantly stripped off his clothes. He was wearing tighty-whities, and I have to admit this was a bit of a turn off. I’ve seen guys wear boxers and boxer briefs, but I didn’t know they wore tighty-whities after grade school. I thought maybe it was a European thing, laughed internally, and sized him up. He looked so innocent in that moment and kind of scared. The whole suave, overzealous suitor thing was just an act. Stripped down, he was just a boy who could only act on pseudo-stud mode and was thrown off kilter if anything changed that. “Should I have pity on him? Eh, alright. But I’m probably going to have to show him what to do,” I thought.

I just chalked it up to a memorable moment for both of us and hoped he walked away appreciating it for what it was.

I have to say, it was definitely not the best sex I’ve ever had. But it was fun turning the tables and ordering him around. He probably thought, “Wow, American girls are crazy.” Lol. He had arrived in the US just weeks before meeting me, so I am sure I set that precedent.
