I was at a lady’s church retreat with some friends recently. It was one of those events where you pack your flannel pajamas, a few bottles of good wine, and escape the usual familial chaos, leaving your husband to spend some quality time with the kids. We would spend our days in fellowship with the lord, and our evenings sipping cabernet in our cozy little log cabins bonding with dear friends.
It was mostly the usual group of girls (who knew each other’s secrets), but we were delighted to welcome a new member to our clan – we’ll call her Sarah. Sarah is 38 and has been married for 20 years. She is athletic and petite with strong shoulders and and a sweet, shy but friendly disposition. Despite being a mother of five, and loving to eat, she is in amazing shape. It was finally time to figure out her secret.
In the evening we discussed our diets and workout routines. Sarah was cheerful and opening up a bit (the wine seemed to be having an effect). When asked, Sarah reluctantly confessed that she doesn’t exercise at all. She never runs, and has never been to a gym. We know she has no problem eating, yet retains a svelte and even toned figure.
So, as usual, as the evening progressed, discussion advanced from diets, cooking, and bras to more intimate topics. Sex is always on the agenda. We all have our idiosyncrasies, and were careful to monitor Sarah’s responses to the inevitable disclosures. But, to our delight, she laughed when Rose characteristically revealed her husband’s passion for feet, and smiled when Marge disclosed the various ways her husband prompts her for sex. When the topic of frequency materialized, the girls started firing off numbers…twice a week, three times a month. Finally, all had shared but Sarah.
She was quiet. Her cheeks were bright red.
She coyly put her hands to her mouth and shook her head. She was about to reveal her number, but decided it wouldn’t be appropriate.
Finally, after some egging on, she sputterd quickly…every day.
She wanted to change the subject, but, for obvious reasons, that wasn’t happening. We wondered how that is even possible with five kids. Her husband is well into his 40’s.
It turns out they have sex every morning…but not only that. They have had sex in the morning almost every day for the past 20 years(!) We learned he wakes her up with his erection against her backside. He whispers some nasty things into her ear. Then, they get down and dirty. It’s all just expected. And, it’s not just a quickie before work. They make hot, steamy love *for an hour or more* before the kids get up…until they are exhausted. (It took forever to get this out of her.) Fucking unbelievable. But then…here’s the kicker…they do it again at night two or three times a week as well. Her husband Brad is just this normal guy at church. Very nice, friendly guy. Also in really good shape. I’ll never look at him the same way again. What a stud.
She was so bashful telling us this, but I think she had been dying to tell someone. She is also always cheerful with a glow. So now know her secret – a high intensity daily (or more than once a day) cardio workout.

This made me so sad. Im 19f and my bf 20m wont even do it with me me three times a week lately . Sigh.
