Just gonna say from the top that this is disappointing, I wish I knew if there was more to it. My wife & her best friend lived in an apartment together after college. Both are now in mid-40s.
She’s told me many times that they took showers together in those days. It’s even been discussed with the friend around, so I know it happened. Her version is that they just jumped in, either to save time or “share hair products”, which was the excuse used when they jumped in a campground shower together while at the beach with my wife’s family.
They both say nothing happened, are both fairly conservative, & neither have shown any tendencies toward being bi. They do have a very close relationship with each other, and have since middle school.
All the time I’ve known about it, I’ve wondered what, if anything, really did happen, cause I know that neither of them would want it to get out of it did. When I ask about it, which I do fairly regularly, my wife says it was nothing, there was no “touching” and it was innocent. But, two very nice looking 20-somethings in a small shower together drives me insane thinking about it. Wouldn’t be upset at all, I’d be thrilled, I just wish I knew. And I wish there were pictures. There is one, but it’s my wife peaking from behind the shower curtain, only her face is in view.
Guess I’ll never know…

Meh is how it is some days.
My wife was same with one of her room mates. And even had a single fling with a different girl.
Zero interest. She did not enjoy it and she prefers the meat pop.
